Fallout What is the future of the Enclave?

Post » Wed Dec 18, 2013 12:57 pm

So Ill start this off by saying the Enclave aren't dead. According to ED-E they have outposts in Chicago. They are to low in numbers to move power through the U.S but where else do you think they could be? and what do you think there future will be. My opinion is they will try and ally with another faction and try to recruit and maybe even get revenge if they ever gain more power. The enclave are most certainly not dead, not yet because they have other outposts along the East of the U.S

The Enclave are effectively leaderless - with Richardson's cabinet destroyed and Eden out of commission - to say nothing of the loss of both the Oil Rig and Raven Rock - meaning they can't really do much. They're effectively high-tech Raiders, with individual commanders now being in charge of their own little fiefdoms.

The Enclave's mission statement means the majority of them aren't going to seek outside help. I see the future of the Enclave as one of being the pawns in someone else's game.

Changing isn't their strong point.

While I would love to see an Enclave come back, sadly their thinking is just to backwards for the new world (Their still stuck in the old world and America)

It would be cool if some of em went on by themselves and made a small town somewhere.

They don't have outposts anywhere else. I have explained that you over and over again. Chicago and we don't even know if they are still there or not. They were remnants in Fallout 3. Remnants of the Enclave that were at Navarro when the Rig was destroyed. Navarro wasn't even fully manned at the time of the Rigs destruction. The people of Navarro split into groups. One staying at Navarro, the other going to Raven Rock. Navarro fell to the NCR and any Enclave that survived the fall to the NCR gave up and tried to start new lives but we hunted by the BoS and the NCR. The ones that went to Raven Rock ended up getting destroyed twice in Fallout 3 and they would have been the ones to establish the outposts(s) in Chicago on their way to Raven Rock.

They don't have bases all over the East Coast or the America for that matter. If some of the remnants try to join another faction or even recruit people, they would no longer be the Enclave as we know them. I believe some would try to ally with another faction, but simply for a means to survive to be useful. Not to get revenge on the world.

So please stop saying "They have other outposts along the East Coast" because that isn't true at all.

They are all but dead. Very few in numbers with an outpost at best (remember outpost is a small camp not a super dooper magabase with thousands of troops) in Chicago who have had their ass handed to them three times by now. Have had their leadership completely destroyed twice now. There would be no one left to run the Enclave. Just remnants of remnants now.
