Fallout - Which factions do you want to see return?

Post » Thu Jan 09, 2014 6:12 am

Hello everyone the factions I want to see return in the next fallout title are:

1. The Enclave: I would like them to make an appearance and have some sort of Hidden Valley where theres the Remnants of D.C that left Broken Steel on the Vertibirds that escaped the CWBoS. I think they should be able to make a difference in the next game. It would be sad to see them go and it wouldn't make very much since because there wasn't much interaction with the faction.

2. Brotherhood of Steel (BoS): I think the BoS should return because they were one of the factions that had a major goal like the Enclave. If they return as a large force then it would be nice to discover more about them. The one problem with this is that there scattered so it may be tough for them returning.

And Im new to the Fallout Series Discussion so take it easy.

1. Caesar's legion. They weren't given enough attention in New Vegas. I would like to see actual legion controlled land, or possibly the time of their demise (foreseen by Mr House and Marcus among others. I trust Mr House with that one), in which they struggle for survival.

2. Midwestern Brotherhood. They are the only brotherhood faction I'd like to see again on a larger scale. If the Barnaky ending was made canon, it would be an even greater enjoyment .

Agreed with the MWBoS. We never got to see much of them. And I guess the Legion weren't seen enough either. I also hope we have more options to join the factions.

Preferably none in other than merely referential ways. If I had to pick one, it'd be the Legion for having the least air time so far; and even then only as an overarcing element you don't join with or fight against directly.

NONE. I'm tired of seeing old factions. I want new factions, and don't want "new" factions that are just the old factions in better pants.

Definitely not the Enclave in any way outside of remnants they've been done to death and there is no new way to progress them it would be more of the same, the brotherhood should have a smaller presence unless it's the lyon's BOS and even at that they've had there time to shine I'm a bit bored of them I'd be fine with the Enclave being completely dead and only having the odd reference and taking a break from the brotherhood of steel.

As for who I'd want to see back it would be Caesar's legion, they had minimal screen time for a major faction and I really want to see what there homelands are like and how there ideology works on a day-to-day level.Maybe even the odd person from the children of the cathedral considering that The unity nearly ended the human race there isn't that much in the way of references especially to tcotc.

I'd say Ceasar's Legion, just so that I can kill them all. Again. But I'd prefer to see new ones, since I bet there are way more, both big and small, factions out in the wastes.

No more Enclave. They wanted to wipe out all mutants and reestablish a "pure" human society. It wouldn't be possible. With the Enclave going out into the world and being exposed to radiation, eating "from the world" food, handling items and material "from the world" for how many years now they have just as much exposure to radiation and possible mutations as any other human faction except the few Vaults that actually functioned as a Vault instead of a psych experiment. If the Enclave had been attempting to rebuild the infrastructure and get things running again, I might believe they actually want to bring back the government and "normal" society. They don't do that. They hunt mutants and generally act like power-hungry asshats.

Actually none of the known major ones. I want to see soemthing new and creative and not the same thing over and over again.

Nothing against cameos of the old ones but the main story shouldn't focus on them.

Depends on the setting of the next game.

In the west, more Legion, especially their home areas.

In the Midwest, the MWBoS.

In the east, I'd rather see some new factions.

In general, I'd prefer new factions, 200+ years is plenty of time for new groups/empires to emerge.

I hope we don't see the Legion again as an active power. I didn't like them in New Vegas (which was made by Fallout veterans) and have no reason to believe Bethesda would do a better job with them than Obsidian did. Personally, I hope that the couriers breaking the back of the Legion by nuking them in Lonesome Road was canon.

It wouldn't feel like Fallout without the Brotherhood, but I hope they aren't a major player. Any Legion presence should be similar to the Enclave presence in New Vegas.

I want to see something new in the next game.
