Fallout Who [WIPz/RELz]

Can't wait to see it! A picture speaks a thousand words, but a video yells loud enough for the world to hear :D

Heh, my own voice narrating the demo certainly yells louder than any picture MissS.... ;)

Videos up guys, enjoy.

Oh, no, sorry... I never plan to publically release the mod. I'm only taking pictures and videos to tease everyone :)

Of course, I'm just ribbing.

As you can see there's still a fair amount to be done, but we're a lot closer to the finishing post than we were a year ago.

the Ood follower sounds cool, without giving anything away.. is he gonna be able to defend himself.. or is he gonna be a bit like the anoying man [sticky].. e.g. the first sign of combat he gets eaten by a rad scorp or nuked with an MIRV by accident on purpose..

You'll have to wait and see ;) If I get it looking decent enough, a trip to the Ood Sphere may be in order...

Well as much as Ood Sigma looks rather funky in GECK, it crashes the game before the bloody things even loaded up, so I'm putting him on the backburner.

The one they electrocute/bludgeon their 'victims' with when they go all feral? Aye, if I find a few mins.

Just watched the video. Veeeerrry nice. The sound effects, the look, the controls, the flight, it was all great. It really just looked and felt like a simulation of the TARDIS. Keep going in all the directions you've been going, because it's brilliant!

Cheers Cam, I've just spent a good half an hour drooling over your HighTown mod. Looks bloody brilliant :)

Hey, thanks! Still work to be done, but I chip away at it every day. Towns are complex though. Complex.

Maybe after our mods are done and released, I could add a visit to Hightown as one of the TARDIS's random encounters. Include appropriate 'greetings' and 'hello' dialogues for the NPCs to make things feel right etc.

First things first though. Finishing our mods.

Heh, thanks pal :) I've got a lot of projects non Who related I want to desperately work on after I've completed Fallout Who, but we'll have to see eh? I'm going to work my backside off and try and get animation sorted this evening.

Edit: Scratch that, I have more important Script Bugs to fix. This'll allow me to toss up demo video 2. And then finish the beast off. Even my girlfriend's noticing how addicted to the bloody thing I am now, and we don't even live together.

I dont want to distract from my own mod.. but...

my evening has just been wasted.

Wasted by the brand new free Doctor Who 3d Game from the bbc website.

It took an hour and a half to complete, but bloody norah, it is absolutely top notch.

I'll be putting up my own review of it on the website, but christ, the story fills some absolutely amazing Who canon continuity relating to the Time War. We get to see Skaro, the Daleks home world, for the first time.
