I'd best update; last night I made an interesting discovery amongst the relics of the scripts I'm no longer using. That's all I'll say.

I'm not going to push with it tonight, and I'm at work again tomorrow, then will be getting lightly toasted (rather drunk) in the evening, but luckily I have a full day committed to HRH Fallout Who on Sunday, so I'll drive on then.

well we shall all be waiting for sunday then.

now i want to ask a question:

will we be able to regenerate? because that would be pretty awesome! and maybe try not to have it like murphys regeneration if you do have it.. maybe badly wounded for us to regenerate?

Ahhh I'm sure someone asked this over at the Nexus... oh well :)

In all canonicity of the mod and Who'ishness, no. Two reasons; 1 - I implemented it, check the file in GECK when released, as a perk - and it worked, once. Then it failed. Badly. Crashes, glitches etc.

And 2 - you're not a Time Lord. And there is no chance of a metacrisis. :P

well.. i could have my DNA altered to be a Time Lord..

but if it causes crashes and all sorts of bad stuff.. i guess its good to just leave it be

Keeping an eye on this one, looks good, I'm quite a Who fan :)

You should definitely make an Amy Pond companion ;)

Out of interest, will you be making any daleks?

wow!! you are a genius.. i never thought of that!

and yes.. you have a good point there.. Amy would make a great companion!

but the Daleks would be a great add on for later after you finish the mod

Afraid not. As much as I'd like to, that's a step too far for my skills at the moment. I'd need to mesh, rig and everything else a brand new NPC creature for a Dalek. That would be a LOT of work.

Mod wise guys, it's a bit of a slow burner at the moment. I'm on late shifts at work this week, and when I get home the last thing I'm going to fancy is sitting there in front of a laptop considering my job :P

I'll be slowly working on things this week though, bit by bit, and I'll be in a celebratory mood over the weekend as it's my birthday, but I'll be intending on getting things rolling.

Ah shame, if you'd been making one I was going to ask if it could be a modders resource, working on some personal mods at the moment for FO3 before starting my big mod when FO:NV comes out (It may be done for FO3, depends on my personal mods but more likely gonna be NV).

If I do ever locate a dalek model I'll let you know :)

modellings not too hard, a good program to use is autodesk 3ds max. although sadly its not free.

if i ever get my pc working again (its pretty broken) i might go ahead and make one over the summer. I doubt it would even take that long, maybe a few days of proper working.

Oh no,don't get me wrong. I have the model meshed to a happy enough level, the problem stands with the rigging process. You'd have to animate it, and give it a bone structure. Yuck. Too much work.

Thanks for the wishes Picard.

Due to an unfortunate series of events of the past week, I'm having to take a step back with proceedings and prioritise things right now. I shan't go into it in too much detail on here, but needless to say my department at work was made redundant this afternoon.

I've put what this means for the mod into a post in the blog; which isn't overly detrimental, but just know that it isn't being locked away in a box somewhere out of sight.

Thanks,

Kris

Just a quick update to state the mod's still alive and coming along. I've gotten myself a new job which is incredibly hardcoe, but it gives me the weekends and reasonable evening time to get this sorted now.

Check the blog for some updates.

I checked his site, he wrote that it will be on Sunday (give or take a day or 2). Seems to be a few minor adjustments with the consoles left, so good news for sure! I can't wait to try it out as well :)

I sent him Captain Jack face update last week. It is by no means perfect or anything, but I did the best that I could in the G.E.C.K. I told him to go ahead and make any further face adjustments if he, or someone else he knows, wishes.

I am just as excited about this project as you are...race you to the downloads when it is available ;)
