Doubtful if anyone will know, but does the quality of this controller equal the actual one from Microsoft? I really never heard of PDP.

It has the 3.5mm audio jack, which indicates that it is the latest rev. Would love to find this bundled with the Microsoft wireless adapter, coming out on the 27th.

Edited to add: Microsoft says a firmware upgrade is required to the controller, and has a ton of instructions for doing it from the Xbox One.

What if you are using it from a PC - and don't have an Xbox One?

Actually that controller was only one day and if you miss that day, you won't ever get your hands on that controller till some fool on ebay sells it for 300 dollars.

Gamestop has them and will happily take your money. Says nothing about limited supply.

I am getting really hung up on what I want... Latest version of Microsoft controller has 3.5mm audio jack and impulse triggers. That is the one I want.

MOST combinations of wireless controller, wired controller, and rechargeable battery don't seem to be the latest controller.

No idea if all wireless versions can be run as wired. Do they all have a USB data port? The power pack uses a USB charging cable. No idea if that is a data port also...

And the Microsoft wireless adapter does not come out until the 27th. Procrastination may be best.

There's only 5,000 of them, so i don't know how anyone could get one if they only made 5,000, how could gamestop have them, if there's only 5,000, they had to sell out already its a fallout product.

I ordered from Gamestop, no idea if it will actually ship, but at least your not charged unless it does ship.

I'll admit I do have an Xbox One copy for the fam, but I'll personally be playing on my OC'd 5.0ghz BEAST (oh with Pipboy on my wrist ) that's fully loaded to play this at 4k UHD (if FO4 allows) Ultimately playing with a controller will always win over a lap desk and/or sitting up straight looking at a monitor in the "relax & have the most enjoyment out of Fallout" department! Agreed. I have 6 other wireless controllers and now with this don't have to worry about charging batteries. As well as I can look at Pipboy giving me thumbs up everytime I get shredded to pieces. WOOHOO!

Although, I agree with you about "it could have been better". Check out the PS4 controllers on ETSY that are made to look like wasteland survival weapons, now those are a piece of art and surpass anything I've seen thus far!
