Fallout 4 Xbox one file size help

Post » Thu Dec 03, 2015 12:04 am

I pre-ordered Fallout 4 on Xbox one and the file size says 25.7GB, even though it's suppose to say 28.1GB - I've read the pinned Xbox one Pre-order thing by the Admin and i've done all that but it still says 25.7GB. I presume this is fine because it's just a placeholder file and when Bethesda unlock the pre-load this weekend i'll be able to just uninstall and download to fix it right?

Very weird. As far as I know the placeholder ticket file was only like 100mbs? I downloaded the full 28.1 last night when I slept. It is definitly available

Someone mentioned the UK version possibly having less language choices and thus is a smaller game. I can see that as being plausible

Yeah a language file would be about 2.5GB, especially if there's a few languages. The US version having more languages seems about right!

it could be factoring in a day one patch on the store. That is around 500 mb from what I have heard.

I agree with Finn's thought, I'd imagine it's the patch being factored in.

And I just wanted to add that I chuckled at the mistranslation, the thought in my head of data having weight was humorous to me. If it helps any, the word you're looking for is "size" not "weight", like the size of my shoe is 10 but it weighs 11 ounces.

That settles it. I'm renaming the Ripper to "Weight of Chaining"

Wow... find a new translator. If it wasn't for the numbers I'd have no clue what he's talking about.

It depend on the medium, if its 128 GB sd cards its lower than vintage 20 mb harddrives.

Weight of chain is mostly an issue then anchoring ships or boats, then you are chained the length is more relevant than the weight.

Ahh, but see, he's asking about the weight of "chaining", verb, meaning "to chain". While you're correct about used in boating, I think OP is referring to the weight, or rather the force, incurred when anchoring, not the weight or length of the chain, itself. It's a necessary question when anchoring and designing chain linkages.

I have read somewhere and now I can't find it what the proper Xbox One install size should be. I just pre-ordered it yesterday and finally after this morning it finished. It says 28 gigs. Now I am not sure if I am confusing it with another game where it said it should be 40.

So what is the proper install size on the Xbox One?

For your reference, my x1 console is still working on that, now 82% downloaded and bandwidth usage 26G.
Considering some useless bandwidth payload, I think 28G is the proper one, which matches to the 鈥?5G+鈥?in sticky.

Yeah I missed that. Thanks.

I guess I am so use to scrolling down to read unread posts, it's easily to miss now.
