1. Faction name
The Bringers (of the apocalypse)

2. Faction morality (Good, bad, neutral, etc...)
Anarcic Nihilists (evil if you want to simplify it)

3. Followers.
No census taken, but very low

4. Allies.
The Bringers have no Allies. They may have temporary alliances agreements but their parters do not know they're dealing with the Bringers (and likely have not heard of them), any deal will likely be followed by a double-cross from the Bringers. For their part, the followers consider the Bringers friends in need of treatment and will go to any means necessary to provide it (including letting innocents die to use non lethal means on a bringer)

5. Enemys (Must have at least one)
The Bringers consider all of humanity, including mutated humans, their enemy.

6. Location
The Bringers have no official camps, but at least 1 can be found in any given followers of the apocalypse camp

7. Technology (Wepons, armour, etc...)
As per the followers of the Apocolypse

8. History
Each Bringer has a tragic tale, but they all share the same common points; after their goodwill was misused, after constant mistreatment, and after observing countless crimes, some followers of the apocalypse have strayed from the fold. Becoming disgruntled some come to (or are lead to by other Bringers) the conclusion that mankind should not be saved, that the apocolypses only failure was that it left some hearts beating, some lungs breathing. They believe that dispute the good (seen as naive by the Bringers) attempts to restore the flame of civilisation, their attempts are hopeless and the candle should be extinguished once and for all.

Eventually enough disgruntled followers came into contact and began to use the followers' organisation against itself. Some poison supplies, others use their knowledge to commit genocide, others pass dangerous knowledge and technology to those who will use it's distructive potential. The Bringers work in secret, watching their colleuges in the followers for possible recruits whilst keeping up the charade of being a happy follower.

The followers for their part consider the Bringers mentally ill and therefore redeemable with correct treatment. Senior members are aware of the Bringers, keeping their existence secret in order to protect morale and stop the followers from self districting (as would surely happen if their existence became public) whilst diverting more resources into mental Heath treatments and monitoring their staff for signs of disgruntlement.

9. Optional: Quest (To get in, to earn its perks, etc...)

To get in: you can't. You may be asked by a bringer from time to time to act as a courier.

Toward the end of a game, the Bringers provide a faction which the PC may be working with materials for a nuclear bomb. If the PC does not discover the Bringers plot, the ending slides will indicate a massive war followed the blast as the Bringers had provided forged evidence to every major faction that the nuclear blast was a part of a conspiracy by the other factions, and they're next on the list!

Name: The Stone Mansons aka "Masons"

Morality: Neutral with a touch of elitism.

Followers: Local tribals

Allies: Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel

Enemies: Mutant Liberation Army, Slavers, Raiders, and Reavers.

Style of War: Trench and seige warefare.

Located in in the Mountains of Colorado

History: A pre-war group founded by Samuel Cutter. A independently wealthy man, made billions investing in Vault Tek and Robo-Co. Once worked for Robo-Co but left on good terms with Mr.House to pursue his own intrests. He was a loner by nature but always tried to help people as he could at the sametime trying to stay out of the spot light. His obsessions were castles/military fortifications, history, engineering and architecture. He studied everything he could on those subjects.

Fear of nuclear war compelled Samuel to build his own private shelter in the mountains of his home state. He then thought "what good would it do to build a shelter only for myself? I would be alone in a nuclear wasteland." "Borrowing" plans for a vault from Vault Tek he set to work building his own Vault. Using many different companies telling different things so none knew what it was they were building. After the Vault was finished he then set to work building a http://www.project610.com/files/vauban-fortification-38470.jpg overtop. Spending hundreds of millions for both the Vault and the fort.

The next step was to select the right people he thought would be needed to rebuild from a nuclear war. Through his contacts and research he hired dozens of doctors, from pediatricians and surgeons to phycologists. He had everyhting they could want and need. Hired farmers and breeders. Artists, authors, school teachers. Most of all he hired engineers, electricians, welders, and masons. Selected families from across America based on background, income and education level. He hired ex-soldiers and supplied them with the a huge arsenal of weapons. Everyone was hand picked by Samuel and team of medical doctors. Each was given enormous somes of money to relocate. Each was picked up by verious means along with their families and personal belongings on September 1st 2077.

By the time Samuel was finished with his project he had almost exhausted his fortune. He only had enough left to keep his employees, employed for six month. The Great War happened on October 23rd 2077. When asked how he was so sure about the coming war, Samuel only ever replied "A friend told me." Over 3000 people were saved by Samuel. They broadcast a radio signal for anyone who may have survived the war, offering food and shelter, their fort being more then enough to repel anyone who came to take the fort. More fortifications were added and trenches dug. Samuel died 2084, his last wish was that the radio broadcast to continue.

They first encountered the Brotherhood of Steel in 2101. They came to the gates of the fort with a small army backed by two http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Behemoth_(robot) They followed the radio signal and the rumers of an impregnable fortress. Impressed with the fortress and a number of smaller ones built by the Masons in the area, the BoS wanted the Masons to join. Their skills in building strongholds would be put to good use by the BoS. After a series of battles and seiges lasting years the Masions finally agreed to be a protectorate of the BoS. They never lost the Fort in battle.

*snip*

Nice, well thought out, it's like a good version of my old joke faction I made.

Spoiler
1. The WASPs

2. Neutral

3. The survivors of New England's rich and powerful.

4. Anyone who will do work for them.

5. The Commonwealth. The Institute. Any outsider who tries to enter without their permission

6. A small isolated haven of reclaimed and de-radiated land, surrounded by a wooden and metal palisade.

7. Civilians like to wear the smartest of Pre-war apparel and the soldiers prefer to wear combat armour. Weapons include a mixture of just about everything from rifles to lasers. Menial tasks are undertaken by robots.

8. Just before the bombs fell on America during the Great War many of the rich and powerful politicians and businessmen as well as intellectuals whom were not privy to the Enclave fled to a large private Vault built by the eccentric and slightly paranoid Trillionare William 'Billiam' Bing. His original intention was to fill the Vault with his workforce so he could sell them off as slaves in a post nuclear world, however this idea quickly fell though when he realised that he could sell off places in the Vault in secret auctions to other rich folk which would help balance out the costs. The vault itself was built under Bing's stately home in rural Massachusetts and was finished in 2077. At the eve of war Bing was holding an extravagant party at his home, officially it was a general 'do' filled with businessmen, politicians, doctors, and general 'playboys' but secretly it was a celebration of the completion of the Vault and the guests who had bought places and were surreptitiously being given tours of their quarters (they had in an act of great fortune already sent their bags to the Bing household so they could have their rooms furnished for Armageddon) as the party reached a lull the butler rushed into the Main Hall and informed everyone that Chinese bombers were on their way. Immediately people panicked and surged downstairs into the vault, including the non-invited and the staff, Bing could not really do anything to stop them but merely rushed upstairs to gather all his possessions. However nobody had a need to panic, for the Chinese did not feel the need to waste a nuke on the house of a Yuppie... an air-burst bomb would suffice, and that would come from a belated bomber about 3 and a half hours after the butler delivered his own 'bombshell'.

As a result of this delay several other prominent persons were able to arrive from the major cities and suburbs of New York (private planes and helicopters were a very good way of avoiding the rabble who crammed onto the highways) to the manor house and get into the Vault. Of course several died in transit and those who arrived after the house was destroyed had difficulty getting in but overall the vault was a success, with around 500 people inside (Bing did throw very big parties).

Time passed and 80 years after the war the descendants of the original dwellers opened the Vault and began to build a settlement around the house in earnest. Using the experimental Rad-away chemicals and a little help from the scientific minds who had lived in the Vault the land became de-toxified and farming began, manned by the robotic servants, barns were raised and cloned livestock who previously lived in the vault came up to the surface. Over the next 200 years the settlement prospered, despite the occasional molestation by raiders. The inhabitants decided to call themselves "The WASPs" in a self-depreciating manner (many of them were Jewish or Catholic after all) Truman Bing, the descendant of Billiam decided that the new society should take in only the smartest and hard-working-est of outsiders and that a new world order, absent from the unsophisticated poor and scroungers would be built from the settlement.

9. If you want to join, you better be damn smart, otherwise you are merely used a tool of the WASPs.
