So i bought fallout 4 and everything worked fine for a couple days, then all of a sudden when i fire up the game every option that is available to me skips when i go to select it. The main menu for instance shows continue, New, Load, settings. When i try to hit new game it skips and goes right to the Load option, if i try to go down to settings it skips settings and goes to crew. I am currently using an xbox controller connected to my computer to play the game, I also have downloaded and installed 2 mods to the game via Nexus mods; The lower weapons mod and the faster power armor animation mod. I started to noticed the problem when i got to a total of 1 day of in game play time. I have tried to play the game using PC controls and it works just fine, i really have no idea what to do. I have tried the controller on other games and i have not come across the problem in the 5 games i tested please help if you can.

Your inputs are being doubled, unplug and replug your controller, restart your computer, and/or unplug any other controllers that might be plugged. This happened to me when I had two plugged in at once but one of them idled out.
