No matter if I run falloutlauncher.exe from ....games\fallout3 or dvd\FalloutLauncher.exe it's the same result.
Choosing properties I see General, Digital signatures, Secutiry and Details.
Basically there is 3 settings I can edit in the general tab:
Next to icon: file name.exe
Attributes: read only, Hidden
Thats all I can edit around unless I of course would like to change which account type can use it, read, write, and so on.
So this means there is no way I can create the default 2 needed ini files to run fallout 3.
I "cheated" by moving over the ini files from falloutNV and changing falloutnv.esm to fallout3.esm
But I'm very sure that falloutnv has settings fallout 3 don't have by default, of course I can't verify that really.
Sure the game runs quite fine when I use the default files created by falloutnv, but i'm very sure both have conflicting settings.
So any changes that relates to performance will lead to a disaster with unexplained crashes.
Searching for any form of a default ini will result in answer delete and run the launcher. Which won't help me at all.
Running the game with fallout.exe or fose_launcher.exe works just fine.
So I'm begging for either the 2 default ini files created by the launcher using ultra settings or a tip on how to get the damn launcher working.
(reinstalling fallout won't solve a thing)
I'm getting massively desperate!
