Falmer confirmed

As the fight moves on we face Falmer, “twisted, evil creatures that dwell in Skyrim’s deepest reaches” and which basically look like goblins wearing spider’s faces as helmets, we move more into melee. A blade in one hand, and in the other a torch to light this dark place.

So the speculation was true, the threads on these forums, I think it was Bootysweat that made all the claims that they were falmers.

Look like Goblins? I thought Falmer were tall graceful being's drove to extinction by the Nords? Unless they started to breed with Goblins, assuming that would even be possible.

That is awesome. The bestiary from Bloodmoon was excellent. I just hope they aren't axing goblins b/c the falmer are in there.

Does that mean there is a connection between them and the Rieklings? From that description they sound pretty riekling-like. Do we have a picture?

I hope they're not all over the damn place.

Anyone else remember the weird looking concept art pics? Sounds like they're Falmer.

I thought the Falmer were intelligent, civil, nomadic Elves defeated by the Nords as they came from Atmora.

Geee... Figures that instead of a "mystery of the far north" and something magical an interesting Beth will turn them in to another breed of goblins... Like we don't have plenty of thous. How do the end up that way if they where elves to begin with? :shakehead: Disappointing - instead of history, mystery and legensd of the snowprirnce and the like we get spider heads and icy goblins.

Falmer! Great :)

Also from that article:
"Oh! The menus. Oh! With every single pick-uppable item rendered as a full, 3D, rotable object, everything tiered into neat categories and smart features such as tagging favourites for instant access, right-clicking stuff in a looting screen to immediately equip it and a tiny, discrete icon denoting which item is the best of its sort in your bags, it seems to have kept all the good stuff of inventory management while making it far more efficient and look exactly 17 times better. Maybe even 18.

Yes!
