False gods

Why are all the false gods in morrowind. I dont understand why would they not pick cyrodil or some other place? What makes morrowind so unique. The only person i think should really be their is vivec for his part in the neravarine. Other then that shouldnt almalexia and sotha sill be somewhere a little bigger and better?

EDIT: Opps i meant to put in lore section.

They didn't just "pick" a place to be, the false gods (Tribunal and Dagoth Ur) were people who merged/connected to the powers in the Heart of Lorkhan to get godlike powers, the heart of Lorkhan was in Vvardenfell, which is why the false gods were in Morrowind.

I don't think so, they all fought on Red Mountain (which is Morrowind) so if they lived there and all, why would they go somewhere else? It's their homeland.

And what StarWarsGuy says, the heart is in Red Mountain as well. (tho ok, yeah, they could have picked up the powers and leave but still..)

Besides, about bigger and better.
1. it's only how the gameplay shows it, but I'm sure that the Clockwork City is much bigger then ingame.
2. furthermore, where Almalexia lives is MUCH bigger, it's the whole part called Almalexia. In game you can see only Mournhold, but ot's just a part of something much bigger than the game suggests.

There was a convention. Everyone just forgot to go home, like those really annoying houseguests. :P

And as others have said, in regards to Morrowind being so "small": keep in mind, what we see in MW is just the island of Vvardenfell (+ a tiny fraction of Morrowind's capital city). There's also the rest of Morrowind to consider; the mainland is about twice the size of Vvardenfell, and roughly the same size as Cyrodiil. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/File:TamrielMap.jpg

There are equally powerful characters running about the other provinces, too. The Underking and Mannimarco both could probably give Dagoth Ur a run for his money.
