I have walked out of the priory and cannot find Veman's (Spelling?) hidden lair entrance, despite looking at an image I have seen at the bottom of a tree.

I have checked every tree, I think. Of course, there is no marker. Any ideas? (Frustrated up the Wazu).

Figured it out. Just didn't look at the trees shown in a "hint" image on the Internet. The photo was of the wrong trees. Loved the quest in the lair!!!!!
