Brief History:

I hate to break it to you, my friend, but that does not constitute a story If you have plans, you need to at least give us a taste, or if you don't then this is a free form RP- which is very very bad :nono:

Beyond the lack of plot, I don't advise you letting anyone have more than one enchanted item, and even then have some restrictions. Enchantments can be a powerful thing, and unless handled properly, lead to extreme ubering.

Also, I don't advise putting a limit on number of entrants. See who signs up, and after a few days if you feel no one else is interested, start the RP with who you have. Because chances are you'll probably have more or less than three people, and if you limit it you'll either keep people out of a good RP, or disappoint yourself.

I would put money on it that you have a full plot worked out already, but you really need to tell us a bit about it Not too much, mind you, but enough to catch our interest.


EDIT: After looking into it, I see you do indeed have a rather extensive history with this RP. I see some respectable people in there, but I don't know how many of them are still around. I really think you should tell us what this is all about- for us newer members at least

Anyway, I remember this rp from some time ago. Before I went to basic in fact. It lasted quite some time if my memory serves correct. But I do agree with Darkom, maybe you could give us some information on what to expect for our characters. I'm not sure about everyone else but I'd hate to throw my well thought out character into an rp with little hope. (No offense)

I say about 15 or 20 years has passed since the last installment and about the background If i could get the last few parts like the very first Thread and a few others then it would be great.
The plot is to cease the fighting within the province and i guess you can say a Civil War between the Imperial City and the Rebels (Outside cities like Skingrad, Bruma, Chorrol, etc). Now the our Characters must investigate what sparked this war and may encounter Insane individules like Veterans of the Immortals and Bandit War that was told in the past Threads. No More talk...and see if i can At least give a prolouge to this.

The plot is to figure out who sparked this civil war as a Imposter and attempted to assassinate the 7 remaining Counts and Countess. Since the imposter is unknown, the blame is on the Imperial city. Our heros are to cease the war and find the real crook, but will they be successful in finding this being or will they failed and lead their homes to a world of true destruction?????????

So is this supposed to be the RP thread or is this a thread for discussing the RP? I'm a bit confused.

Well I'm discussing it to see if it really goes somewhere because in this part one of my characters I want to die so yeah we are discussing it but once I figure out what I want to do then if will post a REAL RP Thread.

I like the idea but it seems that the golden age of TESF RPing is past. Still, given you've kept the series going for eight threads, this could have a chance.

Edit: What happened to the forum anyway? It seems RP threads never last more than 2 or 3 threads, and most never make it past 1.

:shakehead: Too true, my friend, too true. I'd attribute it currently to school and jobs- it gets more action in the summer months. A lot of times I just see some irresponsible people not posting, and most hosts can't get past that. Other times it is a kind of stand off, where each person is waiting for someone else to post- which is yet another thing the host has to watch out for. I'm fairly sure it also has to do with too many newer RPers and not enough more experienced ones more involved. Oh well, Christmas should see some decent ones, and then summer should kick things off again (and when TesV hits the shelves )

Well thanks for believeing this Rp, and yeah it has been active for eight threads. To be honest though, it wasnt going to even survive the 2nd thread so I was happy enough to pick it up.

People are kind of busy at the moment but once winter break and all that come we should get a few to come in.

And i have to say i was pretty saddened when our rp died and i had barely been apart of it but now that were back and the old gang is here too well i have to say we cant let it die again right!?
