Fame or Infamy: A New Beginning

Christo laughed when he heard Lycan replying on the question of tthe Redguard.
"Well my friend, in Bruma there's something that won't disapoint you." He said as he meant Liarah with that.
He barely believed he was going to travel with a vampire, a Telvani, a Redguard and an Elf who's father died thanks to the vampire as thatw as just asking for someone to get killed.

I quickly looked back towards Christo, "So, you have jokes don't you, Christo" I said while smiling and turning back arround and walking even further. "Just to think of it What kind of adventures are there to go on?" I asked while still watching the road.

Aven asked, "So what will we be doing?" He personally hoped that working with these people would give him the opportunity to grow stronger and possibly find riches. He didn't fully trust the others, but he was a Telvanni; watching one's own back for betrayal had become second nature to him.

I looked back towards the Telvanni, "What are your intentions?" I asked while still walking the road. As the hours passed, night was nearly here and we was between the Nibenay Valley and Skingrad.

Zyle was getting a little tired, "Maybe we can rest here till the night" Zyle suggested while sitting on a stomp then starting a fire. "I also saw a valley near, maybe I can catch us dinner".

I wasn't in a rush, so I agreed, "Yes, lets rest" I said while sitting on another stomp and watching the sunset just beyond the hills.

Aven replied, "I'm a mercenary. I will assist you however I can in return for a share of whatever loot we may come across." He was in it for himself, like most Telvanni were, but he avoided the usual Telvanni betrayal because he knew that all of his actions had consequences, a lesson that many of his kin didn't live to learn.

He then asked, "Are there any rivers nearby? I am hungry for mudcrab meat; it isn't too different from the Morrowind variety."

"Fine by me." Christo said with a sigh, his feet were killing him and he couldn't supress a yawn.
"I hope you're a good cook or else I'll have to kill you." He said jokingly while he took out his knife from his pocket, he had the habit to always eat with this knife eventhough he had no idea why.

Zyle look towards the Dunmer, "yes, 5 minutes from here to the east" he said while pointing, "And while you at it can you catch me a few slaughters, or are you affraed they will slice your fingers off like butter" he also said while joking and laughing at the dunmer.

I was really energetic but usually slept during the day, "So, Zyle you said you lived here during the war. How was your life afterwards?" I asked while looking towards him.

Zyle smile turned serious, "Well, I was ten at that time, and I was living with my father when it all happen. That night everything changed, men, women and children were terrorfied from his presence and his right hand man, and I didn't know why he was such a threat untill I looked into his eyes, there you saw yellow and I knew people with eyes that color were only Orcs, but he wasn't human he was a deadra or demon of some sort and once he got us in line a beautiful Imperial that may had a little Bosmer stepped out of line, and seemed like she knew him. The next thing I know im on a ship sailing to Hammerfell to learn their ways." Zyle then looked towards Lycan than back towards the fire.

"Stop moaning and start cooking." Christo said while he chuckled and walked to a tree and sat down.
"If you think I'd be used to traveling well then you're blood wrong." He said again with a chuckle.
Many friends of Christo always told him he had a good sense of humour but then again his friends laughed with anything and this looked like a hard audiance.

Aven grabbed his sword and helmet and headed east. He was a bit surprised that Lycan wanted slaughterfish; the Morrowind variety wasn't commonly eaten, except for the scales, prepared in a certain manner. Still, they were edible.

He soon reached the river, and after some walking up the bank, he spotted a mudcrab sleeping. Aven stabbed it in the vitals, something that life in Morrowind had taught him how to do, despite the differences between the species.

He then looked into the water, sparkling with the reflections of Masser and Secunda. Aven considered swimming around and hunting the fish, but he had a better idea. He cast a lightning spell, which hit the water and apparently electrocuted two of the fish, which promptly floated to the surface. Sometimes it was good to be a mage.

Aven waded into the water, grabbing both fish by their tailfins. He then grabbed the dead crab and headed back.

Christo nodded.
"Well the sooner the better as I'm starvin'." He said as he lay down and looked to the sky.
It was a nice evening and so far they hadn't encountered any problems so the feast would be very welcome.

Zyle reached into his pouch and took out three apples, "Here snack on this till Aven comes back with the food" he said. Zyle also gave one to Lycan and snacked on one for himself.

The apple was good to me as it did hold me over till the real food actually came, "Thank you." I said while munching on the apple.

Aven returned to the camp. "I'm back with food. I got a mudcrab and two slaughterfish." He showed his catch to the group. The spellsword asked, "So, do you want them cooked normally or with magic?"

"I like apples." He said with a sigh.

I looked towards Aven, "I would like mine medium rare please." I said while looking towards him, "And i would like it the old fasion way cooked" I also said while smiling.

Zyle finished his apple and was still hungery, "I would like my food well cooked" he said while rubbing his hands together as he was happy that Aven made it back.

As Zyle was waiting for his food, he got up and walked towards some stones and sat, he was looking at this beautiful view of Skingrad.

Aven pulled up a stump and sat down. He stuck the mudcrab on his sword and dangled it over the fire. It had minor frost damage, but nothing that the fire wouldn't fix. He then spoke. "Could someone hold my sword? I would like to prepare the slaughterfish, but I need both my hands."

"Sure, I'll hold it for you" I said while reaching out and grabbing his sword.

Zyle came back and sat near the fire, "I wounder what great riches will we find during this journey." he said outloud.

Christo yawned before he began with whiseling a song, he lay down and watched the sky, the stars and the moon.
"It's pretty here, you know?" He said not really asking.

OOC: Sorry, I forgot, then I went on vacation.

With his hand freed, Aven pulled out a dagger and began scaling the fish; even if their meat was lousy, their scales could be prepared as a dish. He had to admit, he hadn't had the dish since he fled from Morrowind.

Even so, he looked up at the sky for a few moments. It reminded him of Morrowind, as the sky looked almost the same. But before he could become emotional, he steeled himself and continued preparing the fish.

Aven replied, "I had family in Tel Aruhn, but I haven't seen them in years. My mother disapproved of my joining House Telvanni, she said it was too dangerous. I guess she was right." Aven looked down, somewhat sad. "A rival Telvanni, belonging to a wealthy family, tried to kill me. Apparently that rich brat thought that being a Telvanni means you can murder your rivals heedlessly. He wasn't hard to kill. Unfortunately, his family wasn't too happy that I had killed one of their own, and hired the Morag Tong to kill me. One of their attempts almost succeeded, and I realized I had to leave Morrowind. I only hope this grudge against me hasn't passed to my family."

He resumed scaling the fish.

I felt sorry for Aven as he was telling me about his life, "Well do you think if you bring a powerful vampire and some riches, you think the House of Telvanni would premote you greatly for your find and allies." I asked while looking towards him. "And maybe I'll pay a little visit to that family that sent that henchman after you." I also said while smiling and putting my right hand on his shoulder.

"Wake me up when you are done with that fish" Zyle said while softly laying back and closing his eyes.
