Jacob "Reaper" Grimm
Upon arriving in Nipton, troops were scrambling about with barricades, adjusting for the legion's assault. It appeared as though they were staying although this could just be temporary. I walked into town, Tom at my heels, and we saw Zack and Oliver. I gave all of them a turn at looking at our battle plans, and they all filled in what they had been doing, and what they planned on doing now that i had shown them the plans.
When i looked at the filled in map, i saw that Zack had placed 3 rigged shotguns, 7 concealed mines, 12 bear traps, as well as placing poisoned pieces of scrap metal, directed at the enemy to halt movement, and should any find themselves scratched by it, they would soon meet their end. I realized that all of these would not be set, in fact, i thought maybe only 40 % of these traps would work, but we could use all help possible. Oliver told me about how he had helped cover the fences around the Mojave outpost in Sandbags and Scrap metal, so the fence now resembled a wall now. The buildings had all been connected with catwalks, and sandbags to protect from the advancing enemy.
We had also mapped out our retreating positions, and Tom had succeeded in making 20 bottle cap mines, along with 15 concealed mines, and 5 grenade bouquets. Upon our retreat he would space them out to take out all the Legionnaires he could, without any chain reactions. Upon our retreat, we would wait until the NCR troopers had fallen back to the Mojave outpost, then me and Oliver would find higher positions to snipe out the enemies, while Tom and Zack placed the mines and traps to cover our retreat. Once they were ready, they would radio in to me and Oliver, who would cover their retreat. Me and Oliver would then run back, avoiding the traps, and picking off whatever leaders we could on our retreat to the outpost.
I was unsure of the reinforcements Ranger Jackson would be recieving, but we were prepared to be stranded. In case the Mojave outpost did end up being lost, we would retreat and fall back to the Mesquite Mountains Camp Site, where we would make our next decisions.
