Familiars

I saw in a topic before about binding daedra to nirns or something like that for permanent summoning, someone mentioned familiars. and that gave me the idea of why can't i summon or raise a non-daedric familiar? could be any low level creature, a rat, a wolf, a mudcrab or a snake, even a wyvern, this idea is kindof the same as having a pet, only differnce is that its less troublesome since you can unsummon it and you don't have to feed the damn thing, maybe a minigame to pet it or something, would be in order, but god... familiars are awesome, and i really think that people with a medium-high level of conjuration... like maybe 40 or 50. should be able to do something like this. in fact i'm starting to wonder why this hasn't been in an elder scrolls game before. i've always loved familiars in any game. these things don't even need to be for fighting purposes, could merely be a showoff that you are a conjurer and people will respect you for being a good conjurer for this, kindof like a social bonus. or maybe these things would level with you unlike the summoned daedra so that you could always use those things to fight with you while the daedra you summon grow worthless. :liplick:

I'd love to raise a wolf. Maybe you could have various opportunities to obtain animal offspring. Wolf pups and whatnot. This could be a perk, specific to a ranger-like class.

This petting mini-game doesn't seem to appealing. Don't want this turning into that Animals game for Kinect.
