Having family trees would be a massive improvement. I've managed to keep track of my alpha family, but the rest just gets blurred.

I too like the family tree view idea.

Both ideas sound great to me, though I would also create a room for medical emergencies. If someone dies, those manning the room could rush out and bring them back for possible revival and recovery. The bigger the room the more patients can be held at once, and the higher the room level the faster the patient is revived.
