Would you like to look at my wares?

Ya, that's about it...a bit of flirting's good enough for me. Always hated romances in computer games.

I think that it would be cool to be able to have family and stuff for people who want to RP that way.
Also, even though I will never have a family in the game.
Still, I could RP a necromancer and go around Skyrim seducing women and then killing them and using them for experiments latter.
See, having families isn't that bad.
Just use some imagination and you will find way to make best of it.
Also, families are not forced on you so I don't see reason why shouldn't they be there.

completly opinional families i would really like to see, and the child could be like the new adoring fan and follow you everywhere until you tell it to stop.

I'm kind of keen on the idea, but more companions in general (as opposed to the dreaded escort quests, I mean) would definitely be a good thing. In the end I created a bunch of other friends and family in Oblivion, e.g. siblings, parents, in-laws, acquaintances etc which isn't quite the same thing but made me as the player feel somewhat less isolated. I'm not so sure that TES would work with the fully party-based system of, say, Bioware's games, but not being a completely solo character would be nice.

When my girlfriend spends the weekend at her parents house, do i like to be with my Skyrim wife? No.

Flirting? Why not?

Well i'm engaged and I don't see a problem with it. I spend almost every waking moment with my fiancee but this is a great feature. Of course, if you don't like it then just flirt or don't do any of it at all.

The choice, as they say, is you'rs!!!

It would be like Fable wouldn't it? Romance someone, get engaged and eventually married. Have kids after-which!

What about bisixual romancing? Love it in Dragon Age 2.

Having a child to train as a warrior would be cool, but I don't like the whole family idea that much.

You can say "I don't like it" in many ways.

If someone wants something in the game, should we all by default answer "yes please, if i don't like it, I'll not use it"?

I think you just tried to describe a Fable 4.

Some flirting which doesn't really lead anywhere is enough for me.

I dont think this is a bad idea if done right. This is not, nor should it be Fable. The idea of romance, marriage, and familys, if implemented correctly, would only add the the immersion of the game. There could be different marriage customs depending on what races are involved, this could also dictate the number of children and spouses you and your partener could posses.

It really bothers me in the newer two elder scrolls games how people would have huge houses and be the only person living there. They ought to be crowded in the houses, with four or five people living in the small ones. In larger houses, many servants and cousins.

This would add like a movie element to the game its not as bad as it sounds i thought at least you should be abel to have a Wife/Husband because it adds more life to the game and this wouldnt turn this into a game of romance, This is more about saving Tamriel from dragons and fulfilling your destiny right? :tes:

Oh god no. Loners are alone. How the heck am I supposed to go around Skyrim killing dragons when I'm dragging around a wife and kids? I don't have time to look out for others when I'm running for my life from a 40 foot lizard with wings.
