Don't get me wrong, I love Crysis. But I re-installed Far Cry just because (still a fun game), and cranked up the graphics options and the renderer on Paradise. I used to live in the tropics and I gotta say, even though it's not as realistic looking as Crysis, Far Cry is prettier. The water, sand, and vegetation.

Far Cry is the best sp-fps ever designed, the most enjoyable fps in every respect. And I am not joking;)

I just don't understand that it seems to get no appreciation. It ultimately means people are getting boring.
Probably they are just more interested in useless dx11-features nowadays than in awesome game-technologies themselves.

I have to disagree.....partly. Crysis looks better in terms of textures, vegetation, rocks, etc obviously because it's a 2007 game. But far cry has a more tropical look/colour/tone to it.

Yeah I've seen pictures of scenes using CryEngine 2 that are much better than the Crysis beaches. Like a mix between Far Cry and Crysis.
