It's Skyrim, right? Skyrim's a cool place. Cold, even.

*pained groans as a drum and some cymbals fall off a cliff*

Uh, I mean, it's another installment of the Elder Scrolls series. What's not to like?

The completely revamped magic system. It has all the damage range and versatility it needs, plus you can combine spell effects to stack them or even alter spell behavior. I'm of the opinion that it makes the spellmaking menu obsolete.

The greatest thing for me is just to wonder what exactly it will be like to travel across and explore the vearied wildernesses. I hope there will be a chance to climb up/down dangerous cliffs.

I like the new magic system too. I like that you can take a simple magic concept, like "fire," and turn it into:

1. Fireball - Target
2. Flamethrower - Continuous
3. Fire - Touch
4. Fire - Trap

+ you can make it stronger or weaker on the fly, plus you can combine it with other spell effects on the fly. The fact that this is all organic and fluid and doesn't require you to go to an alter somewhere is even better.

The music, a dragonshout, and Max Von Sydow. Of course, those are the only things I've heard so far.

The setting / atmosphere appeals to me so much. I have a soft spot for things of the north. The direction they are taking Skyrim is totally perfect for me.

What they said about creatures behaviour (wolves having dens, living in packs, hunting, hostile creatures not attacking the player on sight) is exciting news for a hunter like me.

The professions that Bethesda said they'd be putting in (farming, cooking, smithing, leather making, etc).

The premise of a more detailed society with distinctive factions and a strong sense of Nord culture.
