So far, what is it about Skyrim that sounds coolest to you?

Post » Sat Oct 30, 2010 9:08 pm

For me, I like the setting. Skyrim in the middle of a civil war, with dragons thrown in. Sounds good to me.

My favorite thing so far is the random quest dungeon where if you have not been to this dungeon or killed this creature in a while then the AI will make it happen gives so much more replayability.

The fact that it is the sequel to 2 of my favourite games and made by one of my favourite developers. Ofcause that is not the only reason but it is the most important reason that i am so interested in the game.

The coolest thing about Skyrim so far is the continuity with previous Elder Scrolls games.

They're changing some things, but the major features which really make Elder Scrolls games great seem to be staying the same.

If my understanding is right, then the radiant story.

And I think this was confirmed, the "fact" that you can see your body and feet in first person.

The enhanced graphical presentation for in-game environments and the improvements made to animations. Also, the implementation of dragons returning to Tamriel sounds like it will be a really neat experience (for the player, that is, and not the character getting chased by one, hehe :) ).

The game being set in a snow heaped land full of nordic peoples. The prospect of dragon hunting. Radiant AI. And most of all for me is dual wielding.

The weighty combat, where the strikes actually feel as if they are hitting flesh and bone. And definitely the finishing moves.

The first thing that got me excited was the barmaid screenshot. It confirmed at last NPCs that'll actually look nice and human.

I'd have loved to say the factions or crafting, but we don't know anything about that yet, so I'll pick the general visual presentation. xD The screenshots seem to promise a world with a lot of atmosphere, variety and believability. The fact you and the other characters will be free to move and do things while talking looks like it's going to add to the experience. I'm also excited that your character will be much more customizable and hence will fit in nicely.
