She died in the main quest line for the college of winterhold I'm pretty sure. And now i realise when I get to level 100 in destruction I NEEDED HER TO GET THE FRIGGING MASTER SPELLS THAT I SAW IN THE FRIGGING TRAILER. OMFFFFG!!!!!!!!

RELOADING MY SAVE WOULD BE LIKE... 40 hours back D: No way am I going back that fair, between Faralda dying and now I must have finished the main quest line, a hundred different side quests, got daedric armour, got a bunch of cool weapons AND got all my levels. I had three attempts at killing off the thieves guild before I worked out that some are 'essential'...I wondered why some of them kept getting up after I werewolfed them...

I think you need to reload or restart, unless you can PC console her back to life.

Still, Nirya should be happy....

I truly do sympathise...I'm now level 58, and my intention was to start concentrating on magic, but my destruction and restorations skills are only in the high 70's....it would take me a month of sundays to get a chance to get those high level spells due to the far slower levelling past level 50.

Um, Faralda isn't meant to die if you do the College of Winterhold quest. That is someone else entirely. Most likely it was a dragon that killed her.

She's always in her room for me, either in the chair or in the bed

Fyi master destruction spells are useless because you usually don't have the time to cast them in battle. That fancy way to cast master spells is such a bad design IMO

It would've been a bug if she is the ONLY character in the whole of skyrim to give that quest out and she somehow died meaning you'd never be able to start the quest. That would be a bug.
