Fargoth and his Hiding spot problem

Hey, I've modded my Morrowind game quite a bit and I have also tried to edit this one tree out in my game with the Construction Set(With no success), but pretty much when I try to do the Fargoth's hiding spot quest, while I'm watching him, he just can't get around this one tree sitting in the middle of the path he uses to get from the middle of Seyda Neen, to his stump.. And the tree is fairly large, he just keeps walking into it and trying to go around for a bit, then turns around and walks straight into it again and never ends up getting to his hiding place.. If you need screenshots to see what I mean, I'll happily get them, but since most people here seem to know a lot about the mods for Morrowind, I figure some of you probably understand what I'm talking about.. Also I was unsure of where to put a mod help problem, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong section.

press the ~ button to open the console and then click on the tree and type "disable", voila tree is gone and fargoth can get to his hiding spot. :)

You can even type "Enable" to bring the tree back afterwards, as long as you still have it "selected" by the console window (so don't click on anything else after clicking on the tree).
