Farkas questgiving bug : V

So im doing the Companions quests and ended up with the same bug as so many others have before me, however I would like to ask you guys if somone have found a solution or a situation that has allowed you to continue with the last steps of the radiant quests.

Ive been reading on various forums and it seems a few people have found a solution that worked for them, unfortunately their solution did not work for me.

Here is my quest progress for The Champions (spoilers contains quest names, questgivers and quest progress)

Spoiler

Ive added a - for each time I did the quest.

-Take Up Arms
-Proving Honor
-The Silver Hand
-Blood's Honor
-Purity of Revenge
-Glory of the Dead

Initial Wave: These quests are available after completing Take Up Arms

---Animal Extermination I - Aela
---Animal Extermination II - Aela
-Hired Muscle - Farkas
-Trouble in Skyrim - Farkas
-Family Heirloom - Skjor or Vilkas
--Escaped Criminal - Skjor or Vilkas
----Rescue Mission - Skjor or Vilkas

Second Wave: These quests are available after completing The Silver Hand.

Striking the Heart - Aela
-Stealing Plans - Aela
-Retrieval - Aela

Final Wave: These quests are available after completing Glory of the Dead.

---Totems of Hircine - Aela
Purity - Farkas or Vilkas
Dragon Seekers - Farkas or Vilkas

I know I havent done Striking the Heart yet, but Aela seems to only give Animal Extermination quests instead and I`ve done her quests in the final wave.

We have the same issue about not getting the "Purity" quest from either Farkas or Vilkas. Regarding about the "Striking the Heart" I think it's the quest that you get after you became a werewolf and then you suddenly end up in the Silverhand territory with Aela then she tells you to kill the boss. That's how I got the quest. Then after that is "Stealing the Plans". I think your finished with "Striking the Heart" you just didn't notice.

So, what worked for me is this:

You *must* do Farkas's Purity quest before Vilkas's. And they both have to be done for Aela to give you Totems of Hircine. So basically, keep trying to get quests from Farkas until you have done his Purity. If he doesn't have any quests, do another one for Aela (usually one of those stupid Animal Exterminations) then go back to Farkas. Once Farkas's Purity is done, immediately do Vilkas's (or keep doing quests for him until he offers it.) After that, Aela's other quests start to become available (well, after some more stupid animal killing.)

Farkas won't give me quests anymore and I keep repeating radiant quests from Vilkas and Aela for more than 10 times. Purity quest just doesn't start.

Same.... and I have done 49 animal quests in hopes that something would happen.
