Farming daedric arrows?

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 2:20 pm

I read somewhere that you can farm arrows by pickpocketing NPC's doing target practice and placing a single daedric arrow on them. I tried this though and the NPCs still seem to use their normal Steel arrows. Is there a good way to farm daedric arrows?

The NPC's I pickpocketed didn't have any arrows visible in their inventory. They just seemed to have unlimited steel arrows.

Find a follower that uses a bow. Trade equipment with and them take all their arrows and give them a couple daedric arrows. The just play and recover their arrows from the dead bodies.

I know it's not exactly what your looking for but the Fletcher's in solitude sells them. After level 50 he even sells quite a few. I get 20-50 from him every few days. Anyway ya do the follower thing that was mentioned above.

If your trying to farm the arrows from guards remember that when the npc has his bow drawn the arrows will not show up. Best bet it to go into Dragonsreach late at night and take all the arrows out of all the guards and then put one deadric arrow into each. Then go to the porch during the day and one of guard will come out using deadric arrows. I couldn't get it to work but I have friends that have.

Wait until they go to bed they'll unequip the arrows allowing you to steal them.

Ok thanks I will try stealing their arrows when they are sleeping. I'll also stop by the fletcher to see how expensive it is to just buy them.
