Fast way back into Blackreach? : V

to make a long story short, I left blackreach prior to finishing the crimson nirnroot quest, and I need to get back in. I'd prefer to not go all the way back through Altfand. Is there a faster way in? Thanks

If you did enter Blackreach then you will find several exists to Skyrim inside, which you can take to get back in. If you have not unlocked these then you need to go through Alftand again.

Whilst you are in Blackreach, do some exploring and you will find elevators which go straight to the surface. Once you exit Blackreach from one of these elevators, it will show as discovered on your map, and you can easily fast travel to these elevators as normal.

Hi there mate!

There's something like 5 or 6 elevators that go directly down to Blackreach. They are scattered around and some roughly coincide with Black Reach's 4 corners.

But you'd have to have used them before to be able to enter straight from Skyrim. Them elevators are locked from the inside.

Some of the dwemmer ruins have "Great lifts", some of which can lead directly into the Blackreach once activated

You have to exit from the elevator first, before the fast travel option to it becomes active on your map.

Well I can't get back into the lift that I exited. The only reason its on my map is because I exited from there, no? And the door is shut and there is no way to open it. Weird.

The switch to open it is on the inside. If you did not open it then you must have fast travelled out of it previously and now can make a long face.

Nevermind, it was fast enough to get back in through the Tower of Mzark.

Once you activate a lift (go into a ruin and emerge from the inside) there should be a lever in a corner of the lift which will open the gates on all sides.

Yah, you have to open the gate when you get back to Skyrim surface in one of the elevators. Usually a lever about head high on the right.... So if you didn't do that, you'll have to go back through Alftand....
