Fake fantasy realm. Who says they can even get fat?

Can you even gain weight when you walk around, maybe aimlessly; stand for hours on end, maybe staring blankly at a wall; get little to no sleep; and eat as little as one apple per day?

Actually there was a fat person in Redguard

I thought about him while writing the OP, which is why I wrote "Since Morrowind". :) Read again if you have to, but thanks for the correction!

Morrowind -Thin
Oblivion --- Muscular
Skyrim ---- Thin Muscular
ES VI -------Thin Muscular Fat

Exactly! Why does it have to get to ES VI for fat people to finaly show up?!

And for the people who say it's pure speculation:

STOP PRETENDING LIKE IT'S NOT TRUE. We've seen MANY screens and LOTS of presets of character creation. Not ONE fat person, and like someone said in this thread earlier: it's probably because they'd have to adjust all the armors to the body meshes, which is a ridiculous amount of extra work.

Get real, seriously. It's not pure speculation, it's as much confirmed as any other detail.

EDIT: And stop saying it's for thread views, I have a life. I'm not desperate for anyone to view my thread.

Fats are gross. Also, they are unrealistic in the TES world. There was that one fat guy in Morrowind though(the Dwemer guy), but he was bloated due to corpus.

I'm hoping they allow a few body types, a pure mage with a six pack isn't very fitting.

It's reasonable to think there'd be some overweight people in Skyrim. Chances are those who are wealthy and live the good life have access to more food than others and may be gluttonous to the point of being fatter than others.

From the presets you can clearly see that are two types of bodies. The first is thin, and the other is muscular.

It's not. It's baseless speculation, and he put "confirmed" in the thread title to get views. Pretty old trick, which is extremely irritating. It should be banworthy, TBH.

Agreed.

Eh, I couldn't care less that there aren't fat people. Really there are only two reasons why their presence would add anything to the game:

1.) A jolly bartender

2.) Seeing if they bounce when you "Fus Ro Dah" them over the edge of a mountain

What? I can't make a fat character?! That's it, cancelled my pre order.
I made the best fat character ever in Saints Row 2 and I won't settle for anything less!

with the engine, they'd have to make a different outfit for every fat person and skinny person, they don't have to do that with thin/muscular, since it isn't really a big increase in size. it'd be a pain to go and make EVERY outfit have a fat variant o.O

Well two people have already cancelled their pre-order's due to not being able to make fat characters. Seems like something really minute to me.

Even though I love the idea of having a overly fat charactor running from dragons to a tower 100 yards away or climbing the 7000 steps to see the gray beards on the top of the throat of the world, I can't see puting overly fat races in the game since that requires too much work for something I want to experiance for a few moments. Yet if they do deicide to put overly fat people in the game then I think I'll defanitly use it for a character.

And with that.......Fat Argonians would be awesome........Or Redguards! ^_^
