No fat people...

Post » Fri Aug 26, 2011 10:57 am

Why is it that in every ES game there are no fat people?! :o You would've thought they'd add them by now, but for some reason every living person in the world is a body builder or an athlete! ...

... Or someone with a huge fat head with the body of a body builder/athlete...

Of course it's not a deal breaker, but it IS a big deal! In total, there was only 1 man in ES games since Morrowind who was fat. And that is the last Dwemer. Which is NOT a good thing!

* On another note: All the races look GREAT :o Plus, I noticed that some of them have bigger bodies and thiner bodies...

BUT NO FAT PEOPLE AGAIN!

2) What sorts of cosmetic options, like beards, tattoos, or body proportions, are available? Can we edit them later in the game?
Matt:
There is large amount of customization available for each race. You can choose from multiple hair styles, beards, scars, and face paint. Each race and gender has a light and heavy build and you can pick any level in between. We’ve completely redone our facial system, and we’re really excited to show off the results.

Another note:

Look at the man in the middle of the second row and focus on his neck and shoulders. Now look at the man to his right.
This is a heavy/light build example.

I agree.

It would be interesting to play as the mage, so fat that he needs magic just to shift his ass.

Kind of like a Sload. Sload playable race for future Elder Scrolls?

When you have to hunt for your food and grow it yourself you tend to burn off a few more calories than opening your mouth and saying "large fries and cola please".

Where was this Confirmed?

It's not. It's baseless speculation, and he put "confirmed" in the thread title to get views. Pretty old trick, which is extremely irritating. It should be banworthy, TBH.

When's the last time you saw a fat person in a McDonalds commercial?

When's the last time you saw a skinny person in a McDonalds?

It's just false advertisemant. Want to be true to the nature of the food you serve? Show 300+ lb people enjoying your food.

If they made fat people they would have to change every piece of armor to fit them.

Everyone wanted these screen-shots. And now we've got them. And everyone goes insane. There have been 100 threads made up of nothing but baseless assumption ever since they were released. I don't know how some people conjure their ideas.

You try being overweight in a rugged and dangerous environment, I dare you. If the constant running up and down mountains looking for food doesn't kill you, the wildlife that can, will. :turtle:

Exactly, and it is ridiculous to assume they do.
