Well that is how I came to learn that the Enclave has almost a zero chance of coming back. I even had fo research to back me up.

LT and Mr Enclave love talking about the Enclave and busting out like 10 paragraphs about them. Plus I was waiting for Styles to come in and he just scared the kid away. lol

If you guys want new fans to learn you have to debate with them until they have almost no options. I debated Styles, Mr Enclave, and LT for days about the same thing. Slowly they wore me down (no insults were thrown) Then LT pulled some evidence that made me believe them more or less. Some people like to debate on messege boards and find evidence and try to enlighten new fans of the series. If they get scared away everyone loses.

I think we all get a bit to passionate sometimes, and a bit unwelcoming to newcomers who haven't searched (I think every forum says "use the search feature" in the faqs and welcome posts, but none of us ever do) - and yes, I include myself in that before someone chips in with a smart comment.

I think when it comes to lore, I think its pretty much set that things are going to be a bit clique-ey

Well this is true. But I think most people just dont realise how much the Enclave had been owned. I have to agree with them it should really be unlikely that the Enclave (US government) would have lost twice now, but losing the first iem they should nto have come back. Which si why if anything they should come back as an Autumist Enclave.




This si true too. I think we should all try, yes we have heard their arguments one thousand times and its tiring, but at least convincing them of the truth is better than scaring away fans to a dieing genre.

For me 99.9% of them died in the nuked rig.... the few that remained are seen in New Vegas ~the rest are imaginary. I've been fortunate enough not to have encountered them in FO3. :laugh:

Aside from that agreed, a shadow government, small as possible so that it is easier to keep safe and so they have less people to keep satisfied.

They're Dead. Navarro, Oil Rig, and Raven Rock are done for. They are probably in Chicago, but lets remember that they are pitted with the Brotherhood over it (I think).

I completely agree with you though (except for the use of the word "dead" as that implies they're all dead). As it has been hinted at in the games, they're is likely still a few outposts in Chicago, with both an original garrison force and surivors form the east coast (not very many though). If they have to go up against a powerful MWBOS, they'll be annilated most likely, unless they are able to stay hidden. However in Fallout 3 we also get word (although we don't know how reliable it is) that the MWBOS have fallen on "hard times" which could give the Enclave remnants a chance to survive.

Or possibly, if the MWBOS are under General Barnaky, we could see a Remnant/MWBOS alliance. Now that would be awesome.

But still, the MWBOS would still kick the Enclave's ass no matter if they are in "hard times" or not.

That's really up for debate considering that we don't know the situation in the Midwest. In other words, we don't know how "hard" the hard time are for the MWBOS, if they've experienced something similar to the Enclave's downfall (for whatever reason) then its likely they're not going to try to fight the Enclave, they may just decide to keep a status quo.

I also think that if you take an equal number of MWBOS and Enclave soldiers and have them fight, they Enclave would win every time. :tongue:

It would all depend on the terrain.
