Did anyone else nearly cry when your dad (Liam Neeson  ) died in Fallout 3?

I did shed a tear when random recruit was blasted to Narnia by the Behemoth on the other hand.
Reminded me of myself in my early days, felt like watching myself die.

Yea, I was really sad and mad at the Enclave at that time. I do get into the RP aspect of these games, and I played a daughter searching for her Dad, whom she loved very much! So, yes, it was like the Enclave ripped my heart out! RAGE!!!!!!!!! LOL

BY THE WAY... this is a MAJOR spoiler and you should put spoiler tags on your post AND you need to post that in the spoiler section!

Nope. The moron killed himself. Autumn didn't lay a hand on him.

I'll go ahead and punch in the time-card for Mr. Enclave too. Wouldn't want him to be late.

LMAO!!! I wonder if that would be cheating. You know the Human Resource department frowns on such things... :D

Thanks compatriot, we have to go through the motions it seems.

James killed himself in a hasty and foolish attempt to destroy his purifier, end-of; even if he had wanted to sabotage the Purifier, he could probably done so and had a more reasonable chance of escape had he just gone along with Autumn. And even then there's zero indication that Autumn would have betrayed him given Autumn's later revelations and motivations; James, as the project leader, would have been a very useful asset to the Autumn regime.

EDIT: And Nielsen, stop collecting pay-checks and make some good movies.

My first though was "why the hell did he just kill himself?" I also didn't understand what reason we had to go after him in the first place. So no I have never cried when he died.

To be perfectly honest I thought he was a total idiot for killing himself when he did. Was confused why he did it too and took me several playthroughs to realize why.

I also reacted to "Oh my god, they killed Jonas!!!" with "who the [censored] is Jonas?"

'Taken', 'Unkown'. Those weren't good movies? And he played good parts in Star Wars and Batman (an awesome performance).

I also like him in "Kingdom of Heaven" and the brief role he played in "Gangs of New York."

Me too actually. And I actually felt bad about Jonas. Taught me how to shoot and was one of the few NPCs who was decently voice-acted. But yeah, by the time I regrouped with dad I completely forgot he existed and so could not care that much.

Kinda this. Jonas was so great, I avenged him a hundredfold. Dad was so, meh.

Yeah...I was sad when ol dad and Jonas died.

I was very sad when I just couldn't use Fawkes at the end of the vanilla game...I mean everyone would win...I don't want to die or get a karma hit.

I will kill everyone in the wasteland to keep my good karma....uh....mmm....that might not work....I'll get back to you on that.
