Are Fatigue Potions Useful? Or should I just sell them. I'm playing Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul's Mod and I'm wondering if i Should keep Fatigue Potions. I never find them useful. I never used them but should I sell them or keep them?

If you never use em then just sell em. i find em pretty good actually. Chug 3-4 when fatigue hits 0 and youve got a near endless amount of energy. I'm only lvl 3 though so no idea how it works out at higher lvls.

Fatigue poisons on the other hand seem pretty useless so far.

I would save them, in quite a few long fights with FCOM, I was able to survive becuase I could restore my fatigue for an extra power attack.

I think Restore Fatigue Potions are useful if you get into a melee battle. It definitely helps improve damage. And if your "fatigue" goes to zero you fall down.

EDIT: I also find Restore Fatigue Potions are useful if you want to level up acrobatics. Because all that jumping can wear your character out.

Possibly even more useful though are Damage Fatigue Poisons. They can debilitate an enemy for a long time, much longer than a paralyze poison. Particularly if combined with Damage Strength poisons.

Very useful in melee combat, more so with a heavy weapon at low levels.
Never tested damage fatigue potions, again most useful against melee enemies if they follow the same rules as the player, not sure if monsters use fatigue then they attack but npc including humanoid daedal should.

I have them hot-keyed on my Orc Warrior. I drink at least one a fight. It makes a big difference on how fast I can kill an enemy, and I hate getting knocked down.

To me, they're pretty much useless. They were useful in Morrowind because running would deplete your fatigue, and this could have an impact on the outcome of a battle. But in Oblivion fatigue only drops down when you swing your weapon, and the regeneration rate is so quick that you usually don't actually need them.

Everyone regenerates fatigue at 10 per second.

There is good reason I think that Savlian is a fan of damage fatigue poisons -

A master alchemist with master gear can craft a poison of damage fatigue 12 x 47 seconds. If you can get their fatigue down pretty low first, this is every effective. Remember that you can stack up to 4 poisons into your foe. This could mean damaging 48 fatigue every second for 47 seconds - that should put many foes down and keep them there. Then it would only take on additional poison every 45 seconds or so to keep them on the ground as long as you want. Or tinker around with this in conjunction with a powerful damage fatigue spell to initially knock their fatigue down. A little more trouble than paralysis, but very cheap and very long lasting.
