Very nice article.

Sounds like those people planning to go Heavy Medic have a good backing from that guy - and sounds like heavies are going to feel significantly different - here's hoping the Lights are given an equally unique treatment.

"Those long limbs and camel necks were replaced with, essentially, a human cube."

Best line ever, good find wraith, gizmo approves

Facepalm why? The guy may have made Heavies sound rather chunky, but he also made them sound nearly indestructible. As they should be, to make up for their severe lack of mobility.

Hmm, QUICK TO THE BRINK-MOBILE!!! DUNUNUNUNU!!!!

Anyways, I think Heavy's will be great medics and support because of, well, this, they can take alot of damage and they will force the team to slow down and not butt rush towards the objective.

The concern that he has for the single-player experience is one that I have thought about a little bit as well. I plan on playing 90% of Brink online and with other people but I also intend to learn the basic controls and see the story in the campaign. I would hope, from listening to SD talk about how they are really excited about the single-player, that the campaign is more then just a foot note.

Of course, this is the kind of game that you buy because you want to take your fully customizable soldier online and fight with and against 15 other people.

Or, they can let the team rush the objective and mop up the mess the team created when they arrive. Think of it as "Oh, the reinforcements have arrived!"

Heavy Medics will be highly successful so long as they are close to the fight. Otherwise, they would be a waste of manpower and valuable resources if they are nowhere near the fight and can't get there quickly.

Since someone mentioned Gears of War: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxZrSILng78

It's a fairly accurate picture of Gears.
