Favorite Bar or Restaurant

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 7:56 am

Where's your favorite place to grab a drink or a bite to eat after a long day of adventuring in the Wasteland? Mine is the Cafe Beau Monde in Tenpenny Tower because it's a clean restaurant and the service there is really friendly. :)

Same place as you. It's as classy as you get in the wasteland. I don't drink alcohol much, though; usually it's just water.

I like the appeal of Wilheim's Wharf, you know, being a nice waterside patio kind of thing. Romantic, and quiet. <3

You know I never actually thought of that place as a restaurant untill you pointed that out. It does have tables and a sign that says it was an eating establishment before the bombs fell. So the old granny hunter took over the place and sells the meat she catches to hungry customers, kind of like the random scavanger in Lucky's near Tenpenny Tower who just takes over the abandon store and sells the wares left behind. :)

I like to project my preference for open, bright places on my characters, despite the fact s/he grew up in an underground, claustrophobic Vault :P

Well my character is very obssessive-complusive like me, so her perfers clean places to rest and get a meal. He's doesn't like the other eating establishments in settlements that are full of trash and grim where the cooks don't even care about trying to make their food taste good. For example Gary's Galley, while it's kind of a dirty restaurant, at least the owner does try to make his meals delicous. Carol's Place in Underworld is both dirty and the waitress Gretta admits her food is nasty and doesn't care (no offence ghoulsrpeople2). That's why he likes Cafe Boeu Monde because the restaurant is both clean and the cook tries really hard to make her food yummy. :)

Moriarty's in Megaton is my favorite since there are number of people that comes along, with regards to privacy and serenity ambiance, its Wilhelm's wharf.

I do that too, but my characters like places with peculiar/ interesting characters like Moriarty's or Spelunkers in Little Lamplight.

*Ahem!*

Have you seen Southern Fried Wastelander on Carol's menu? Hmm? I didn't think so. The only difference between the food at Tenpenny and the food at Underworld is the other diners around you. I'd rather dine with the common folk than those snooty snobs.

Well I'd rather not eat in a place where the waitress looks more rotten then the food. :P

And the Tenpenny Residents aren't so bad. They're pretty friendly when you get to know them, and they smell better then the majority of Wastelanders. :)

I'd rather eat at a restaurant where the food and the cooks are both clean. Yeah! That's it!
