One of my favorite RPG experiences was doing an idiot character (very low INT) in FO2.

Compared to others around the community, I don't play many games. In my lifetime I've owned perhaps 20 or so.

For the most part I tend toward series titles. The following 6 series are always on my hard drive:

1. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caesar_%28video_game%29 Currently playing III and IV

2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_War_%28series%29 Currently playing Medieval II and modding Rome 2

3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baldur%27s_Gate_%28series%29 Recently finished 1 and began Shadows

4. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sid_Meier%27s_Pirates! I take my Royal Sloop out for a voyage almost monthly.

5. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Empires Recently played Barbarossa campaign in AoE2

6. And, of course, The ES series: Arena through Skyrim. I don't play online but am particularly fond of Morrowind and Oblivion.

If we go way back, there was always Liero and this one game called "Romjakten", I am sure other Norwegians (and maybe other scandinavians?) have heard about it.

It was pretty cool, you made space ships and tried to decode an alien message and did research, made money etc. It was a great little game.

Ultima 6. I bought it off of GoG so I can still play it. I even bought the original box from Amazon so I could use the cloth map.

I never played the Ultima series when they came out, but I did get the whole shebang from GOG awhile ago. I have not played them yet, but am looking forward to the experience :)

Probably Pacman. I was a bit rubbish at it, though, so I generally preferred watching other people play.

Including my grandfather. Apologies for the recycled anecdote that he was more into videogames than I was.

I guess I'll go with ps1 games, since that's what I started with. I'd say Medievil, Metal Gear Solid, Spyro the Dragon, and Final Fantasy IX. Also Pokemon Silver. :P I'd say Morrowind, but I don't really consider it that old to call it a classic just yet. Then again, the other games I mentioned aren't that much older either, but neither am I, so these are my classics. :P

Road Rash 2

Zelda - Ocarina of Time

Rogue Squadron

Ghost Recon (the original)

Morrowind & Oblivion (as & when they become classed as classics - to me a classic is out-dated and neither of these are)
