I have to say my favorite armor of all time in Fallout is a mod armor:

Other than that I greatly enjoyed the Combat armor w/ the combat helmet and biker goggles for Fallout 3; along with the Tesla APA Mk 2 set.

In New Vegas, I liked the NCR Facewrap armor w/ the goggles helmet, and the NCR Veteran Rangers "Black" armor. The Mk 1 Tesla APA also made my fav list for New Vegas.

Those are my favorite decent-high DT/cool looking armor sets.

If I am RPing an evil character the Raider Sadist armor suites my needs nicely and looks abominable while doing it.

If I am being good a simple Lab coat works wonders for the "savior of the wasteland" feel.

And for all around exploration while neutral karma RPing, nothing beats the Sheriffs duster/Regulators duster in my opinion.

My favorite armors would probably be the Chinese Stealth Armor and Tesla Power Armor from Fallout 3. I also really liked the Veterens Ranger Armor.

In Fallout 3 I really like the armored Vault suit and Tesla Power Armor, I've also always liked the look of Metal Armor.

In New Vegas, my favorites are: Combat Armor, Reinforced Leather Armor and the NCR Ranger Patrol Armor.

I dislike most Fallout armour sets. Too big, unrealistic and cartoonistic for my tastes.

However, I don't mind the stealth suit mk II at times. Purely because of the dialog, even if it does get repetitive at times.

My usual apparel is actually clothing. Specifically the mercernary types, with the veteran one being my favourite.
