Favorite fallout character

Post » Sun Dec 27, 2009 8:27 am

It's interesting to hear people talk about their favorite personalities from the whole franchise. If your character is your favorite, then be my guest in saying so.

Mine has to be liberty prime in fallout 3. Not necessarily a character but his sayings make my day. I mean.. i nearly dropped my controller with: "Democracy is non-negotiable!"

If you do or you dont have a favorite character(s), which ones do you think deserve better or more character development? Personally I think the protagonist in all the games need a little more sauce in terms of the details in their lives....

James, seriously he's a cool dad (as cool as my dad if my dad is a scientist rather than a cop)

Haven't played the first two enough to really say who my favorite characters from them are. Same with Tactics. Fallout 3 on the other hand...hm...

Liberty Prime is definitely near the top. And while I never bothered with Followers before I'm growing rather fond of Dogmeat. But off the top of my head I can't really think of any NPCs that I really really like.

Colonel Autumn.. As minor as he is in the game series, I always had sympathy for him.. Mostly because of how misunderstood he is.

Other than that, I like First Citizen Lynette, too. I like her attitude. Natural born leader.

Harold, Set, and the Lieutenant. Butch too ~somewhat.

In FO3... I've never reached Eden in the game, but McDowell did a terrific job on his lines. ~So until I meet him, I'd say the AI.

OOOO This is a tough one so many favorite characters

Unfortunately I only played Fallout 3 so my choices are slim

Definitely Liberty Prime is on the top list, the first time I seen him in action I was blown away made me dam proud to be an American

"Freedom is the sovereign right of every American."

My first choice would have to Elder Lyons. A man with all good qualities compassion, discipline, honor, duty, and righteousness

Second would be Sarah Lyons. Second to her father in all the same ways but admittedly I think shes hot

A women with a gun oooo weeee

My third would be all the members of lyons' pride

And lastly all the members of the Brotherhood of Steel

WE ARE STEEL!!!!

My most favorite charcter in Fo3 is Colonel Autumn. He is absolutely adorable))) Hope I will learn Geck and write more dialoges/reactions for him. And God bless the person who made the "Follower Autumn" mod!

Enclave Eyebots - they are really kawaii!

Frank Horrigan and/or the Master. No contest. I wish Fallout 3 had a final boss rivaling them.

If anybody deserves more character development, I think it's Colonel Autumn. He was very disappointing compared to the aforementioned characters.

Let's see. I liked James, partly because he was a good character, partly because he was Liam Neeson. I liked Gob, 'cause he was my ghoul pal. Harold, of course, in all three games. Not sure if it counts, but a combo of 'Herbert 'Daring' Dashwood and his stalwart ghoul companion, Argyle. And Dogmeat, 'cause he's just awesome. I kinda liked Lou Tenant, but he was sort of a jerk. President Eden because of the awesome Wing Commander reference.

Hm, guess I really like the characters in Fallout.

This incompletleness leaves much freedom of the furhter development. It would be nice if he appeared in Fallout 4 or New Vegas.

Colonel Autumn, Charon (I nearly wept when I gave him a funeral a FO3 because he died of sniper fire), I also liked Ashur. Ashur was honestly the only good bad guy who ever gave me a SERIOUS moral run for my money.

Frank Horrigan, Harold, The Burned Man (I know, he's from Van Buren but he's awesome)... Now, let me think...

Knight Captain Gallows all the way, I just have this image of him going out on Stealth missions, executing dozens of super mutants of his own accord

Killian Darkwater because he was the first not-sketchy person I ran into in FO1.
