1 and 2 were good for their time. But too low-tech for me in this era.

Sometimes I actually appreciate the goofiness and weird easter eggs in FO2, maybe I'm the only one but I'm also a huge fan of British absurd slapstick comedy like The Young Ones, Monty Phyton, Bottom, etc.

The absurder the better! Oh well... humor is relative to individual taste of course.

Don't get me wrong - I liked the humour, but sometimes there was a bit too much.

While i prefer Fallout 1 for the storyline and general atmosphere, i find fallout 2 to be an overall funner game so while its not an easy decision i have to say fallout 2 is my favourite.

I have no absolute favorite, while I am a FO2 fan-girl there's stuff that are less better in that game and better in the other games.
All games have their strengths and weaknesses, but fallout 3 even with 800+ hours is still at 4th place for me.
So it's a tie between FO1/FO2.
But I haven't finished tactics yet so I can't really speak for it.

I've just started Fallout 2, but I've finished Fallout 1 and 3. And I gotta say, I prefer 1. Everything from the graphics(Yes, I liked Fallout 1's graphics more) to combat. There are things that I hate about it, but it overall feels like a more professional game.

First off, I would like to introduce myself, I'm new to the forum

. What is your favorite Fallout game in the series? Mine would have to be Fallout 3, the story was great and all of the add-ons were great too.

Tactics is my favourite of the original three

F3 kind of stands on it's own
