Marcurio and Erik the Slayer have the most varied dialogue, it's fun to have them around.

only followers i have really used were the http://uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:Steadfast_Dwarven_Sphere and http://uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:Steadfast_Dwarven_Spider

why are they not on the list?

Sceolang is my favorite in the last one. He grew on me so much during my last DG playthrough

Love Farkas and he's my bro, but Aela wins over. Hot Nordic huntress seductress, hehe. And she's tough as balls. Serana I like, but Frea's better for me. Though I admittedly use Serana more, but that's because it doesn't feel right taking her from her people. Serana however has nowhere to go really besides to her mother.

Shout out to Borgahk Steel-Heart Rayya is very badass, but I use Lydia more because she's the first housecarl.
