No idea, since I don't know anything about how they act in game. You can't really assume either, its been 200 years.

I shall join The College of Winterhold (Mages guild) because it will fit my Mage character playthrough followed by joining the Stormcloaks because after Titus became Emperor the Empire has slowly began to crumble.
