Personally, my favorite is the Lever-action rifle, least is that damn double-barrel shotgun.

I detest assault rifles. Inaccurate lead flingers, all of them. They also degrade so fast it's absurd. I'd love a precise, three-shot-burst weapon like an FN FAL or something.

As for my favorite, I roll with the Laser Rifle, all the way. Damage isn't too hot, but it's so dammed precise it doesn't need massive hitting power to throw out the hurt. I can take the head off an Enclave trooper from across the Potomac with my AER9. Without VATS.

Actually, if you use the regular assault rifle out of VATS, and fire two or three round bursts, I find it to be more accurate than even the Xuanlong Assault Rifle.

Currently it's Eugene and the Double Barreled for me. Least fav is any plasma weapon. Pew Pew svcks, ino, except for the Gatling and Wazer.

I dislike shotguns. The sawed-off shotgun is the yuckiest of the lot.

However, for favourite weapon, I am not sure. I like Blackhawk, Dart Gun, Spiked Knuckles, Combat Knives, Sniper Rifles, *Live* Frag Grenades and *Live* Frag Mines. Too hard to decide which one of all these I like most. Blackhawk and exploding pants are probably tied for the win.

The Chinese assault rifle has long been a mainstay in my inventory although I'm recently rediscovering the joys of the combat shotgun. There's something quite satisfying about high damage weapons that absolutely destroy the target in one shot.

But for sheer stopping power, the Metal Blaster is hard to beat. :yes:

I dislike any big guns really. I prefer stealth and mobility to lugging around a massive weapon like the minigun etc. The only exception to this is the Heavy Incinerator, which is just flat out awesome.

In no particular order my top four fave weapons are Lincoln's Repeater, The Terrible Shot Gun, Sidney's 10 mm, and Xuanlong. I have no "favorite" when it comes to these four because they all have unique purposes in different situations. I never use police batons or lead pipes, any laser/plasma weapons, or big guns.

fav: samurai sword I know it doesn't do the most damage, but it's sleek, sixy, silent, without any firey/glowy affects and degrades slowly with 1000 health.

Further refining my preference for laser weaponry, I have to say that Metal Blaster svcks. Tri-beam is good for corridor clearing and close assault, but really, that why Yelena carries Smugglers End.

Mainstay is still the trusty AER9 Laser Rifle she pulled off a Talon merc three minutes after exiting Vault 101 the first time. Hadn't even reached Megaton yet, and already a match was made in heaven.

Depends. When I'm not feeling sneaky I don power armor and use Eugene with a combat shotgun as backup. For a more subtle approach I use the Chinese stealth armor, set a mine field, get my victim's attention, then sit back and giggle as they blow themselves up on Bottlecap/frag mines. It just never gets old to me, though I've only been playing for a few months. I've never used the knife, combat knife, or the lead pipe.
