Favorite line in the game? Take2

Spoiler
I remember why, General Oliver became General because he had connections to President Kimball. Colonel Hsu on the other hand was going to be promoted, but, as said before, Oliver had connections to the president, thus granting him that spot.

Spoiler
As said by Boone during one of his history conversations. When you impress someone like Boone, damn you should be rewarded for it.
Honestly, I kinda regret siding with the NCR just because of Oliver. Just a ignorant, overconfident bully in my eyes.. that has the power of an army at his hands of course but I've defeated them all.

Kimball is a war hawk as are Moore and Oliver. Hsu is a much more sympathetic person and diplomatic officer (most notably when dealing with the Kings in Freeside). As such, he doesn't really fit into Kimball's front line operations.

Ambassador Crocker also is a person who relies more in diplomacy than violence

removed from his position if you follow his suggestion to ask Hsu for a diplomatic resolution. Colonel Moore is quite petty.

Just when you think you're heard everything:

Cass: "What'd you do? Stick a plug in his cocktube to make him explode?"

in reference to a recently deceased deathclaw.

Really? LOL! First time I heard of that one. I recently heard a new line from Cass (from my own playing experience) about the two monuments, ".....they could be shaking each other's dikes for all I care." ROFLMAO! :lmao: I like a girl who can talk like this. Mmmmmmm......

No, a trail carbine, and I don't have either perk. I don't know what prompted her to say it.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to pick her up again and hope she says it at some point.
The line is great, but without hearing her voice saying those dirty words it's just not the same.

You know how you can become "stuck" on always choosing the same dialogue options most of the time? I don't mean just for major quests, but all over the place. My current new game I was determined to at least pick some different options to hear more dialogue. So today was the first time I told Boone that I didn't want to be aggressive w/Legion in one area so we should part ways and his reply was:

"Better be a good reason. I didn't join up with you to go on nature walks." Then he turned around and walked back to Novac. Nature walks....haha...that was funny.

The convo you have with cass if you have the black widow perk:

courier: "soft men don't stay that way around me long"
cass: "generally I agree with you except when the soldiers have too much to drink. Damn whiskey dikes."

something like that, I wrote it down but lost it :sadvaultboy:
