Either the Morrowind Code Patch, or the Morrowind Script Extender.

My favorite? Any mod in my permanent loadlist is my favorite. But if I have to name only one, let's go with Arrow De-nocker.

I'm sure almost everyone here uses Better Bodies, or some kind of sweet headpack, most likely Westly's.
So I'll say Better Bodies for sure, since it is at least a default use.

Hardly anything else is a default must-have, besides your character looking better.

None of the mod's that are mentioned above would I class as my favourite. They don't add any real content to the game. They might however fall under the most useful mod category for me...(aside from the BTB one)

Anyway, my favourite mod would be something that made the game more fun such as http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=8623.

It's funny how I didn't even thought about mentioning a must-have like Better Bodies. Then again, it took me a long time to convert to BB, mainly to gain access to new clothing/armor mods.

This is the best mod ever

The Crappy Mod
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=3819

This mod burdens you with mucks in your inventory if you don't use the bathroom for a long time.

It's funnier if you add in the other mod that lets you throw items at people.

Morrowind Comes Alive, I've honestly NEVER played Morrowind without it. I've been using the mod since way back when it was first released and can't imagine my game without this excellent mod.

Mine is Galsiah's Character Development, I suppose there are others that fine tune the same thing, but I love the big numbers I get.

I knew someone would link Jump.
:D

There is no favourite... there are about 50 mods I can't live without, and I love many more mods as much as I love those ones.

(I can't imagine playing without the two community patches and BB, though.)

No Glo

And for quests/gameplay, probably http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=732, although it can be buggy at times.

I know, definitely not lore friendly, but it's still cool. i use it as a backup (in case Chrysamere breaks, or I get stuck)

Tamriel Rebuilt, and this isn't self advertising. I loved this mod so then I joined the team. I never play without maps 1 & 2, I can play without any other mod out there even the essential community patches and BB/BH.

Without the slightest hesitation, GCD. I don't see the point in playing otherwise.

This is a hard call, I have a solid core of mods that I can't play without, from tiny tweaks (Magicka Regen) to mighty re-texture mods & new lands. They have all enhanced my game.
But if I have to point to a mod that was a truly outstanding experiences, it's a toss-up between the White Wolf of Lokken (Emma) & Julan, Ashlander Companion (Kateri). I love them both, can't choose between them.
