Perks. Our characters are going to be able to evolve in way cooler, way more meaningful, way more varied ways than in previous titles thanks to the Perk system...this is what excites me the most, by far.

Although we have very little information about it so far, it looks like there's going to be a crafting system, and that's the thing I'm most excited about.

My play-style in TES has always tended towards the "live in a shack and make money off the land" rather than being a world-saving hero, and any factor that can stretch out my enjoyment of completely ignoring the impending crisis for as long as possible gets my vote.

I like the dynamic shadowing because it really sets the tone of an area, but I think my favorite is the revamped marksman system. With arrows being more scarce and having slow drawbacks, but potential one shot kills sounds more challenging and fun.

The immersion. (through the amazing landscapes, snow effects, radiant AI, epic dungeon description so far, town economy, sense of culture, etc)

I may be crucified for this, but I'm really excited about the new leveling system. No more micro-managing skill levels to create a perfect leveled character.

Hmm... so many awesome new features I am excited about, but if I had to pick just one it would be

Revamped Character Design + Radiant Story + New Factions

I suppose we won't know very much about the factions until E3, but the fact that there will be definitely be some interesting joinable factions already has me excited, considering the backdrop of the civil war.

There are some features I'm really happy about: the detailed world, the more alien culture and setting (at least with respect to Oblivion). But those aren't new features. They're just a reinstatement of features that went missing for a bit.

There are also some features I'm really excited to hear more about, and I suspect I'll really enjoy: the new faction system, for example. But since those aren't confirmed...

As it stands, the new, confirmed feature I'm most happy about is probably the new leveling system. No classes, each skill contributes to leveling up, but higher valued skills make a greater contribution. I think this will make for much more fluid character customisation.

Well, either that or the ability to equip any item to either hand, in any combination. That opens up lots of interesting combat possibilities.

I'll have a hard time handling that. Or I could just put a healing spell on my left hand and use it to recover from the wounds that I couldn't block.

You could also put a shield spell in one hand and a weapon in the other...

That they are seeking out to be more alien than Oblivion.

That the side quests are going to be more dynamic and engaging. The side quests in Oblivion almost never interested me.

The new weapon/spell system that balances each archertype. And the addition of Thu'um. And the setting. And the dragons... I think we can just say that I love everything about this game so far, even if they have removed classes.

i just want to know how optimized the game is, so many games are released now with such poor performance bugs.... homefront animation performance causing massive fps hit..currently fixed.....black ops in windows 7 not rendering larger areas correctly with its streaming textures [censored] tech issues causing massive performance hit with a big hit on gpu usage percentage

its just sad really.

I wonder....If you assign a blade to the Right Trigger and a Spell to the Left Trigger, how do you block?

You don't.

I'll have a hard time handling that. Or I could just put a healing spell on my left hand and use it to recover from the wounds that I couldn't block.

I'm sorry. I just want to ask again to make sure I understand correctly. If you don't have a shield equipped, then you can't block with your weapon?

Till now, Radiant AI and Story also.

EDIT: The post upon mine made me remember one more thing, that they should implement a REALISTIC crime system...seriously.

Two handed weapons will also be able to block I think. Honestly we haven't seen any good combat gameplay yet. For all we know there could be a parry system allowing you to "block" by timing and aiming an attack at your opponent's weapon.

What is your favorite new feature? Mine is most definitly radiant AI and Story because it will add a level of depth never before done.

You do know that they said the same thing about oblivions AI and we all know how it turned out \o/.

Anyway... new features... Hmm... Well i guess that they handcraft the world (atleast thats what they said) but i guess we will see once its done if its just random generated or not.
