Realistic dynamic shadows.

You have no bloody clue how hard good level design/tone is to achieve in Fallout 3/New Vegas with how crappy the lighting is. No clue.

Mine is either the viking setting, or the dual weilding mechanics. The spell system sounds awesome too

I wonder....
If you assign a blade to the Right Trigger and a Spell to the Left Trigger, how do you block?

You don't.

I'll have a hard time handling that. Or I could just put a healing spell on my left hand and use it to recover from the wounds that I couldn't block.

the one that hasnt been announced yet, but its the ability to climb and scale walls that will let you get into specific areas for them stealthy approaches

also the other unspoken ability to craft your own unique weapons by choosing hilts based on specific materials as well as specific blades to craft weapons to your own personal preferences and fighting styles.

SHUT UP dont ruin it for me

Off the top of my head, I'd have to say my favorite is the new inventory. Specifically, being able to zoom in on objects while you're in inventory mode. It's something I always wanted.

The spell system sounds like the best thing, especially if spell combinations make it into the final game.

The fact that they removed attributes is my fav! Watching the forums the other day with all the "OMG they ruined the game" threads was amazing!! But seriously i like the setting and i can already see how the game will "feel" and i think it will be awesome!!

there are so many things im extremely excited about... the radiant AI and story... being able to do anything you see NPCs doing, such as smithing, farming, etc...

but i guess one of my favorites is the new inventory/map/etc screens... looking up into the heavens to see my skills and the constellations, and being able to examine every item in the game closely with the 3D models in the inventory... AWESOME!

also, the map being an actual zoomed-out overview of the land is badass! :D

the only other game i've seen that in is just cause 2... so its still interesting to me.

there are many more things i like the sound of, but this sounds like something that will keep me busy for quite awhile, examining the map and the items in my inventory.

pretty sure that i wont be getting either of those. if anything im more pessimistic about the game because i have yet to see any pc footage or screenshots... imo the game looks average compared to other games while in comparison to oblivion its actually great looking, but only in comparison does it look good to me.

Radiant AI isn't a new feature, Oblivion also uses it as does Fallout 3. Of course there'll no doubt be improvements with the newer version. The Radiant Story feature sounds rather interesting though.

the radient AI is going to be taken into more depth though

I love dragon shouts, the magic system (bioshock is one of the greatest game on all time), dragons, ESV, finishing moves, shadows, radient stuff, better graphics all tie for first

I am pretty sure armor system has changed also and I am looking forward to that

A-f'ing-men.

I absolutely hated having to place a light source farther away from the wall then the actual light bulb, just so it wouldn't "leak" over into the adjacent room. It was ridiculous, especially when you look at interiors that Beth made, 'cause they had to do the same thing.

Oh my god, I know! Then if you walk right up to the light in third person, and press urself up against it, dispite the light source (bulb, tube, etc.) being right in your chest, the light shines on you from behind. I think the actual objects emitting lights will IMMENSLY help with creating really awesome well lit, immersive places. :D

My Favorite new feature is the Perk Tree system. Making Leveling up meaningful in The Elder Scrolls games was something Oblivion Lacked, and Morrowind had for kind of the wrong reasons (Things like Guild Advancement).

I don't like to take the bad without the good, or vice versa.

So the Feature I'm most wary of, is the Radiant Story system. It seems great, but I hope it isn't used as a justifiable form of laziness.

Dragons

Also Khajis and Orks don't look lame/stupid/ugly as hell now
I may even play as one in run #2 instead of avoiding them completely
