Favorite part of the main quest?

Name pretty much says it all, what's your favorite part?

Mine is a toss-up between the Battle of the Imperial City or in Gaiar Alata (Mankar Camoran' paradise)

The part where you have to collect the four books and then solve a riddle.

Unlike many, I gloried in the main quest this current play-through. After all this time (I'm now over the 1.9k hour mark) I still consider it my overall favorite part of the play-through. It, more so than anything else, defined who and what my avatar became. (http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn303/Decrepit_Waste/ESIV%20Oblivion/GatheringHolyRelics.jpg comes in a close second in that regard.) I enjoyed the quest line as a whole. It's next to impossible to single any one aspect of it as being head-and-shoulders above the rest. That said, looking back my favorite part might be having watched my avatar (http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn303/Decrepit_Waste/ESIV%20Oblivion/In_Oblivion_1.jpg) close fifty-two Oblivion Gates before http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn303/Decrepit_Waste/ESIV%20Oblivion/MartinsLastRide.jpg. If I had to pick one single moment of those fifty-two closings as most memorable, it would have to be the miraculous jump between tower bridges he once made in order to reach that particular sigil stone more rapidly. It was a very long leap. Failure meant death. Neither of us expected him to pull it off. When he landed safely on that far off narrow walkway we both paused in disbelief. I think I even let out a cheer. (We were never able to repeat that success.)

Perhaps, I don't remember the quest name anymore, it's been years since I did the MQ.

All of it, the MQ is very satisfying for me, especially at higher level fighting all of those daedras at higher level really convey the crisis feeling to me. I'm currently redoing it and just finished escorting Martin to Weynon Priory.

But my favorites are battle of bruma and relighting the dragonfires.

I thought the soldiers lining up and saluting Martin at Cloud Ruler Temple was actually very moving. I also enjoyed walking out of Bruma with all the crowds chaeering around us. I've never felt so much like I was inside a Hollywood movie when I played a video game before. I thought it was stirring.

My feelings exactly.
