Favorite power armor model?

For me it's the T-51. Runner for helmet design would be the raider variant.

T45, solely because it is so easy to repair. It only has 2/3rds the hit points of the X-01, but you can repair it with soup tins in any red rocket.

As stated on the other thread with this question, the T-60, I enjoyed the T-45 back in Fallout 3 over the T-51 and the T-60 feels like a natural upgrade.

Adv Mk I/II of course...or X0-1 as they are calling it for no reason. T-60 shouldn't exist, T-45 wasn't made to be bulky ( I mean literally, Beth designed it for F3's character models) so it looks odd, and Raider Armor looks cool but cannot be upgraded enough...T-51 is still awesome even though they changed it a bit

I like raider armor. give it to a companion and it will only ever take steel to repair.

I like the scrapped together on a frame look of it.

Because they don't use cores it's almost free for the companion.

My first impression from seeing the various armors for the first time was.

T-45 looks like a cross between a Storm Trooper and a Tie Fighter Pilot.

T-51 has the old school Battlestar Galactica Cylon look going for it with that eye slit in the helmet.

T-60 has the Darth Vader look in the helmet.

The X-01 looks like a reject from Warhammer or Space Marines.

So my only conclusion was to say to myself "T-60 all the way baby!".

I use the T-45 until I can find a full set of T-60. They both have that nice heavy looking should pad set up with the slot for the work rack chains so you can work on it easily. The T-51 looks like they left a T-45 in the oven too long and all the cool looking features just melted off. The X-01 just carries the T-51 look to the extreme. It is actually an improvement over the T-51, in the looks department, all except for that ugly helmet and that was the deal breaker for me. Yes, I could slap a T-60 helmet on the X-01 but I prefer the looks of the T-60 full set.

T-51 man. That armor, with the right paint job, is pretty BA.

X01 because of sentiment to Fallout 2, when games were still RPGs. It would be T45 but Beth keeps making it look weird.

There are plenty of RPGs in today's time, like Witcher 3 and Fallout 4.

Honestly, none look that good to me. I use X-01 purely for protection, but I would like if they addedd Enclave Hellfire armour in the DLC, that thingy was beastly ( appearance wise )

I'm currently using Railroad T-51b. Not for it's strength's or capabilities, but because of how it looks.

It's dark black and not very bulky and really looks sharp.

Any of the 20 odd that I have sitting in a closet at Red Rocket that I never use. All kinds, all types and a myriad of extra pieces and parts. Couldn't tell you what I had if you paid me since I don't use PA - ever.

Advanced Power Armor from Fallout tactics is my favorite model. Too bad thats the only one not being in this game.

Oh well, modders or dlc...

I like the power armor that is standing all on it's lonesome out in the wilderness and rusting. Either that or the one on the corpse of the BoS member over there. That's about all they're good for. Rusting or coffins.

X-01 for sure. Aside from it being the best power armor in the game, I think it also looks the best. I love the 'hunchback' kind of appearance of the shoulders, and the helmet looks a lot more intimidating. Having the headlamp built into the eyes is an excellent touch as well.

I do use my BOS T-60 suit when I'm traveling with Danse or generally when I'm doing BOS quests though. I've got a T-45 suit that I applied the Minutemen paint job to, but I just can't bring myself to use the T-45 anymore lol

X-01.....I currently have three (Edit I forgot that third set I just found) complete suits, with three partials waiting for parts. I also now have 1 Raider, 6 T-45 (most of which I've found since going over level 50), 3 T-51 & 2 T-60. Parts wise I have enough Brotherhood T-60 parts to make several suits and also parts for extra T-45 and T-51, I also have a power armor frame waiting to be fitted. But all in all the non X-01 are standing in lines on the third floor of my settlement, since I've mainly used the X-01 (apart from the Museum mission) since I didn't start using Power Armor until recently and didn't see any reason to use the inferior models when I had a top of the line set of armor.

Next playthrough I will probably make more use of the T-45 earlier on since I've never really been in any danger of running out of Fusion Cores.

I love what Bethesda has done with power armor in F4. I can remember being very disappointed in F3 where the power armor just looked & acted like another set of clothes. They didn't even make a mechanical noise when they moved. Well done Beth much better this time :tops:

Xo1 for me especially the shoulder area the circuler design makes it look like a beast of a suit.
