I disagree. I play it more as a fighter/mage using a strong mix of spells and sword to augment each other.

argonians wood elves khajiit and orcs in that order for argonians i almost always choose a knight playing style for wood elves i play an assassin or an archer for khajiit monk or thief for orc crusader or barbarian

Bosmer & blade. But by blade, I mean stealth with a dagger. Bosmer thieves with daggers have always been my favorite.

I'm either an Altmer mage, or an Argonian battlemage that uses blades, but I might make my people use maces in Skyrim.
