Favorite Rare Artifact?

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 6:20 pm

Umbra, Chrysamere, Azura's Star. When I get right down to it, I think the Star is my favorite. Very useful for making enchantments, and for making a trophy out of Almalexia later on :)

Encumbrance is always a problem with my hoarding char's, so that is why I always love to have SkullCrusher.

I can't believe no one else is saying it, but Veloth's Judgement FTW! (even if it's unique, not an artifact. It should be, looking at the name, but whatever.)

Temple Mission:

Boss: So you want another job? I want you to clean out the Berne Clan and Raxle Berne himself.
Me: *still in steel/bonemold armors* This is going to hurt--
Boss: And I'm giving you this ginormus hammer to do the job.
Me: > : D

Vampires: Hahaha, piddly little warrior with a basic silver sword... *Veloth comes out* Oh sh-

Honestly I don't care to use artifacts much. I'll usualy just use a custom enchanted weapon and a set of custom jewely. I don't even wear armor anymore because it's too easy to find now that I know where all the best stuff is. With this lineup of enchanted gear I'd say that Azura's Star is my favorite artifact.

If I must choose a weapon I'd say sunder is my favorite. Considering it's strength fortification it's definitly one of the better weapons in the game. I always liked it's subtle design as well. Hearing about it and seeing pictures of it, I was expecting it to be a huge maul like all the war hammers. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was one-handed.
Spoiler
If only I didn't need wraithguard to use it. Heavy armor isn't my forte.

If I must choose a piece of armor I'd say the Cuirass of Savior's Hide. Like I said, good armor's too easy to find (this especialy so) but by the off chance that I do wear armor I usually use light armor. Besides this is about as normal looking as high end armor gets in Morrowind.

Azura's Star and Wraithguard. The former is a handy god trapper, the latter I like so much I use both.

Daedric crescent, Trueflame and Hopesfire all of them look really cool and have really good attack and enchantments.

I like Umbra. That blade got my first character through the bulk of the game. I love it!

Probably Eltonbrand, or Chrysamere. Nice sword.
Although, I've never been able to get Eltonbrand. I do what every site tells me to do to get it, and it never works, my Goldbrand never transforms into Eltronbrand. I think my games broke. =/

My favorite is the Eltonbrand. I spent a lot of time getting it. It was worth it.

Hircine's Ring - good call. What's even more fun is that it can be enchanted and the werewolf enchantment is not lost. I prefer to give it a constant effect of 24 points of strength. My favorite piece of jewelry, hands down.

All this talk of Umbra has made me hear the sword calling my name, again... :ninja:

I forgot all about Hircine's ring. Even when I have it, I don't often use it for any practical purpose but it's just plain awsome.

Wraithguard, even if I'm not using Keening or Sunder. It gives some nice bonuses, as well as works as a nice fist cover when I decide to get my Imperial drunk on Nord Mead and go into the forests of Solsthiem bear-punching.

Goldbrand, Umbra and Spellbreaker. Goldbrand is an unique katana, i just like it's form and it's quite powerfull. I also find the story behind it interesting.
I like the color of Umbra and it does alot of damage. And with Spellbreaker i just like the shape of it

Ice Blade of The Monarch, my favourite blade. Nice damage, good enchant and I like how it looks.

I thought I was the only one who did things like that. Good to know I'm not the only one!

My favorite artifacts would probably be the Fang of Haynekhtnamet, Daedric Crescent, and Cleaver of St. Felms.

Dragonbone cuirass, Eidolon's Ward and fists of the randagulf.

The spear of bitter mercy is pretty wicked too, but I never use it. :P

Well, the "Bloodskal" (or something like this...) is a pretty good sword. My character is currently using a deadric axe (I want to make him better with axes), but his major skill is with long sword, so it makes it efficient. ... I don't know if it's an artifact..., but it's an unique weapon.

The staff of Magnus, is pretty weak...

The "Sixth House Bell Hammer" is pretty great.

Spear of Bitter Mercy* and Hair Shirt of Saint Aralor*.

*Spears are my favourite weapons, and the Spear of Bitter Mercy has an awesome design.
**Mostly because of its design.

How has no one picked this? It is so obviously the best weapon in the game:

The fork of horripliation for the lulz.
As for the most useful, Azura's Star.
Lastly, for the simple neatness and efficiency, Mehrunes Razor.

It has to be the Eltonbrand for it's ability to kill people in at least 3 hits (And because North Carolina should go to hell. I enjoyed using slowfall on Tarheil then killing him, but that's a different story.) and Ten Pace boots, because they give you, at least I think, 4 bonuses, which all happen to actually be useful.

Plus there's Dragonbone Cuirass and Vampiric Ring, but those are pretty secondary.
