It's a pretty straight-forward question, what is your favorite magic school in Skyrim?

If you choose Destruction then tell me what element you favor, as they all have their uses.

My favorite school is Illusion. It's just so fun to sit back and watch your enemies destroy each other..

My favorite is conjuration and illusion (Nothing more fun then watching some helpless sap get killed by his own buddy then bringing his friend back to life so he can even the score )

Restoration. Very useful.

Illusion as everyone has said nothing like getting allies to kill each other for make a entire town go mad

Its a tie between restoration and illusion for me. Restoration if there was a way to increase spell potency permanently, otherwise illusion.

Alteration

Frost is my favorite sub-school of Destruction. The Deep Freeze perk is the most underrated thing in this game.

Wouldn't surprise me if Illusion gets the majority.
As for me, I like Illusion for making others do the work for me, and Alteration for protection.
I guess conjuration falls into making others do the work for me as well.

Either conjuration or alteration.

Restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

My character enjoys knocking back and freezing foes with frost magic (destruction) so that gets my top vote. Though it can get very tricky when fighting multiple enemies at once...

Using wards (restoration) to thwart dragon fire of other spells/attacks is also quite enjoyable, though the timing takes a little getting use to.

Thirdly; surprisingly using magelight (alteration) has given my character a lot of joy to guide enemies about, namely into aptly placed frost runes.

Conjuration,for somewhat obvious reasons

Conjuration. Especially Necromancy. Soul Cairn bodyguards FTW.

I like the aesthetics from illusion, that moment when your character glows red when casting Hysteria? That's just...art!

Conjuration.

Restoration is a close second because Healing is a requirement for most of My playstyles.

Destruction - fire spells

Alteration used to be my School of choice in Oblivion. Used Feather and Lock Opening spells a lot.

I haven't really explored magic that much in Skyrim. Like the applications of Restoration given in DG though.

Conjuration definately first, with Illusion a close second.
