3 Favorite T.V Show

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 10:56 pm

Mine have to be.

1. Arrested Development. (OK i just started watching it, because i wanted to understand why everyone says it is so great. Well now i understand. if someone ever says nothing good comes on the T.V, i point them towards Arrested development)

2. Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia (It would have placed 1st on my list, but the last season was really lacking. Even this Sub-par season was really funny. i just hope this doesn't mark the first decline in the shows quality)

3.i like alot of shows, but i cant think of one to place 3rd. Maybe i will find one after i read through this thread.

so you tell me. What is your favorite show?

2. Archer
3. Samurai Jack (recently bought all 4 seasons and loving it).

Obligatory "too many to list," but at the moment:

The Venture Bros.
SDF Macross
That 70s Show

The Office (US), Futurama and YuYu Hakusho would also probably make the list depending on my mood.

Only counting shows that are currently running(I don't think I'd be able to choose just 3, otherwise):

1. Modern Family. One of the few sit coms on right now that can make me laugh and that's still going strong.

2. Doctor Who. Can't wait for the next season. :D

3. Being Human. I actually just discovered this show a week or so ago. I'd forgotten how entertaining a well-written dramedy can be, and haven't be able to tear myself away from the show; I only have 2 episodes left of the second season. I think I'm going to go into withdrawal once I run out of episodes. :P

I hardly even watch TV anymore. It seems like whenever I turn it on, the only thing airing is a combination of news, stupid reality programs, and subpar movies.
There are, however, a handful of shows I do enjoy (and which are on regularly).

-Planet Earth (in fact, just nature shows in general)

-Doctor Who (the new series, thank you)

-The Colbert Report/The Daily Show (it's a tie between these two, which is why I listed them both)

There are, of course, other shows. But they're either on very rarely, or I haven't seen them in years.
I miss you, Caprica. Where did you goooooooo? ;3;

Newsradio, Firefly and Glee. :)

If we're only counting current shows then Medium, Private Practice and Glee.

1. House MD (awesome)

2. The Simpsons (Yes, it has svcked for a while, but I can never get tired of watching reruns of the incredibly funny first 15 seasons or so)

3. It's a tie between: Band of Brothers (one of the best... anything.... ever made about WW2), South Park (always hilarious), the first 4 seasons of 24 (Jack Bauer is the man!), the Doctor Who seasons with David Tennent and The Amazing Race.

I got the box set of The Pacific for christmas and I enjoy it.

Band of Brothers is also an HBO world war 2 series that I like.

And I like Adventure time....I know its an over the top kids show but its my kind of humor

Well, the series i currently follow regularly are CSI (getting a bit stale, though), V (first season just ended), and Fringe. Nothing that good available from the finnish TV companies currently. Not even Mythbusters :(

And of course The Simpsons, but that goes without saying :D
